Aravinda to lead in final
Aravinda de Silva will lead Sri Lanka in the Asian Test Championship
final against Pakistan in Dhaka beginning on Friday.
Chaminda Vaas has also been named in the 14. Aravinda de Silva
(Capt), Hashan Tillekeratne, Russel Arnold, Aviska Gunawardena,
Mahela Jayawardena, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Marvan Atapttu, Chaminda
Vaas, Pramodya Wickramasinghe, Upul Chandana, Ruchira Perera, Suresh
Perera, Ruwan Kalpage and Chandhika Hathurusinghe.
The squad was selected in consultation with Duleep Mendis who is in
Lahore.

New fielding machine
Bertram C. Jayasuriya, a former Kingswoodian and a keen cricket
enthusiast has turned out a machine for fielding.
With Sri Lanka's fielding having hit a new low this machine will help
improve slip fielding and close catching.
Jayasuriya will be introducing this machine at the SSC ground next
week.
