At Kingston, April 26. West Indies won by nine wickets, completing a three-one victory in the series. Australia, sent in, failed to score enough runs, and Haynes led West Indies to a comfortable victory with his third undefeated century. A half-century from Smith and enterprising batting by Ritchie carried Australia past 100 with only one wicket down in the 24th over, but they failed to build on this start. Again off-spin, this time from Harper and Richards, tied them down as much as fast bowling. Ritchie's 84 lasted 44 overs. Haynes and Greenidge virtually settled the result by putting on 80 in nineteen overs.

Man of the Match: D. L. Haynes.
