Western Australian Cricket Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Kath White as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Western Australian Cricket Association is delighted to announce the
appointment of Mrs Kath White as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Mrs White was until recently the chief executive of City of Wanneroo.
Prior to that she was the Managing Director of the West Coast College of
TAFE. She has been twice awarded the prestigious Telstra Business Woman
of the Year award in the public and corporate sector categories.
Mrs White has been a member of the WACA Executive Committee for the past
two years. During this time, she has served on a number of the key WACA
committees and is familiar with all aspects of the WACA's operations.
This experience will facilitate a seamless transition into the position
of Chief Executive Officer.
As a consequence of accepting the role, Mrs White will resign from the
Executive Committee.
In her time on the WACA Executive Committee, Mrs White has demonstrated
a passion for the game of cricket. The Executive Committee believe that
her love for cricket combined with her comprehensive management and
business skills will provide the WACA with an outstanding leader for its
management team.
The Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of the Australian
Cricket Board have each expressed their support for Mrs White's
appointment.
Mr Charles Fear, the Chairman of the WACA, expressed his delight at the
prospect of working with Mrs White.
The efforts and performance of Mr Rod Lillis, the Acting Chief Executive
Officer and of the WACA management and staff have been greatly
appreciated by the WACA Executive Committee.
Mrs White and Mr Fear will be in attendance at todays press conference
to answer further questions.
