England v West Indies, 2012

A review of the Leicestershire v West Indians tour match, 2012

15-Apr-2013
At Leicester, June 2-3 (not first-class). Drawn. ‡West Indians 150-3 (A. B. Barath 53*, D. M. Bravo 66) v Leicestershire.
Rain allowed only 50 overs on the first day, and the second was abandoned before the start. Adrian Barath and Darren Bravo had time to construct a stand of 111 after a spot of bother at 25-2; acting-captain Kirk Edwards was trapped lbw by a full-length delivery from Nadeem Malik without adding to the meagre 20 runs he had managed in his seven first-class innings on tour. Bravo was eventually bowled by left-arm seamer Rob Taylor after hitting ten fours and a six; Barath struck only four fours as he chiselled 53 from 151 deliveries.
