Western Australia XI v New Zealanders

At Perth, November 21-22, 2015 (day/night). Drawn. ‡Western Australia XI 345-13 (90 overs) (W. G. Bosisto 78, S. M. Whiteman 117; N. Wagner 5-62, M. J. Santner 4-62); New Zealanders 426-11 (89.2 overs) (M. J. Guptill 103, B-J. Watling 81; J. S. Paris 3-31, A. J. Tye 4-40). The New Zealanders chose from 15 players and the Western Australians 12. The tourists' final preparation for the day/ night pink-ball Test went well. Mitchell Santner bowled himself into the side for Adelaide, working his way through a self-regenerating WA batting line-up - three went in again, which allowed Wagner to trap Jonathan Wells lbw twice. Yorkshire-born Sam Whiteman made 117 before falling late in the evening: "My previous best score against the pink ball was about ten," he said. "I think it's a little bit tougher under lights, but definitely bearable." On the second day the New Zealanders amassed 426, Guptill hitting four sixes in a 109-ball century. Latham and Watling batted twice, while WA wicketkeeper Josh Inglis claimed seven catches and a stumping.
