At Basseterre, St Kitts, April 8-9, 2015 (not first-class). Drawn. St Kitts Invitational XI 303-9 dec (90 overs) (J. M. Bairstow 98, A. Saunders 50, J. E. Root 87*; B. A. Stokes 3-32); ‡England XI 222 (78.1 overs).

Each side chose from 17 players, and it was agreed that each would bat for a day of 90 overs. The Invitational XI was bolstered by the inclusion of several of the tourists. Trott, opening for St Kitts, was dismissed by Jimmy Anderson for a three-ball duck, and Gary Ballance also fell cheaply. Jonny Bairstow and local man Akeem Saunders put on 135, then Root batted out the first day. Trott went in again for the England XI on the second morning, and was caught behind by Bairstow for two; Ballance also swapped sides, and retired out for 23.
