Normal service was resumed with another crushing, one-sided Indian victory. Left-armer Barinder Sran, who had begun his sporting career as a boxer, knocked the stuffing out of Zimbabwe's batting in an extraordinary opening spell of 3-13-9-4, including three wickets in his third over, from whic there was no recovery. Bumrah was hardly less impressive with 3-11 from his four overs, and Peter Moor was the only batsman who could hold his head high. Sran's swing and Bumrah's bounce were beyond Zimbabwean ken. Chasing only 100, Rahul and Mandeep Singh were never remotely challenged, and completed India's first ten-wicket win in Twenty20 cricket with 41 balls to spare.
