The Cricket Council, 1976-77
The Cricket Council, which first took office on October 1, 1974, consists of a President, a Chairman, the Chairman of the Council's Public Relations and Promotion Sub-committee, fifteen representatives from its constituent bodies, a representative each of the Minor Counties Cricket Association and the Irish Cricket Union. The President of the Council is also President of M.C.C., whilst the Chairman of the Council is elected annually by the Council. All cricket is thus represented at the highest administrative level.
