Second one-day international

Bangladesh v Zimbabwe

At Dhaka, November 25 (day/night). Zimbabwe won by 42 runs. Toss: Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe clinched the series by batting Bangladesh out of the match. Their total of 309 was built on Ebrahim's maiden international century, which anchored them into the 48th over, while Carlisle, Wishart and Streak hit out. Wishart's rich form continued, with a 60-ball 68, but the real fireworks came from Streak. He blasted 23 in only seven deliveries, including 22 off the final over, from the left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafiq. After that, Zimbabwe could easily afford a five-run penalty when Wishart obstructed a fielder. Habibul Bashar and Sanuar Hossain added 115, but they took more than 24 overs; even Bangladesh's fastest one-day fifty - 37 balls, by Khaled Mahmud - could not loosen Zimbabwe's grip.

Man of the Match: D. D. Ebrahim.
