Man of the Match: C. J. Chibhabha.

Zimbabwe achieved their first ODI victory over a Test-playing nation other than Bangladesh since they beat the same opponents at the same ground in November 2003. Their innings was anchored by Chibhabha, whose 73 came from 85 balls, and given late impetus by Matsikenyeri, whose 55 occupied only 40. Chanderpaul, who made his eighth one-day century and faced 138 deliveries in all, put on 118 for the fourth wicket with Morton, but the scoring-rate was kept well in check by Zimbabwe's bowlers, who included slow left-armer Ray Price, back for his first international since March 2004. Price and off-spinner Prosper Utseya bowled overs 21-40 off the reel, conceding only 86 between them, and when Morton was finally out West Indies needed 80 from 28 balls.
