2nd ODI, Chittagong

Zimbabwe v Bangladesh, 2014-15

At Chittagong, November 23, 2014 (day/night). Second one-day international: Bangladesh won by 68 runs. ‡Bangladesh 251-7 (50 overs) (Tamim Iqbal 76, Anamul Haque 80, Mominul Haque 33*); Zimbabwe 183 (44.5 overs) (S. F. Mire 50, R. W. Chakabva 32, E. Chigumbura 38; Mashrafe bin Mortaza 3-34, Arafat Sunny 4-29). MoM: Mashrafe bin Mortaza. At 177-6 in the 42nd over, Zimbabwe were in with a shout - but Elton Chigumbura was superbly run out at the wicketkeeper's end by Sabbir Rahman's direct hit from mid-off, and slow left-armer Arafat Sunny took three wickets (all bowled) in his final over. The target should have been higher after Tamim Iqbal and Anamul Haque started with 158, Bangladesh's second-biggest opening stand in ODIs, but then Shakib fell first ball, and the innings lost its way: the last 17 overs produced only 93 runs.
