Great that Moeen finally gets his chance. The lad is a fantastic role model for young British Asian cricketers

They should have included at least three spinners because pitches in Bangladesh support spinners

ecb are a joke drop kp and bring in moeen ali dont make me laugh. all the good england have done kp has been leading the way. ecb dont like the people who are not yes men along with kps batting skills he would be a good coach to the up and coming players. hopefully james taylor will get a chance now. ali cook now has a lot to prove if he was involved with kp been dropped need to improve his skills as a skipper and be more attacing

Planning for the future (regarding batsman) would include brining a new player in at #6 and having them earn the right to move up the order so that when your #3 and #4 leave (retire/get dropped) then these new guys move up. This clearly isnt happening so i struggle to see how this is preparing for the future. Im an Aussie and have just seen a period where guys were thrown in and expected to replace great players - it didnt work and since then we have seen Clarke move into the #4 spot and watto move into #3 (agree hes not a #3 however he has experience and can be replaced once the guys at 5/6 get their experience). I would keep KP in (unless there is another issue which hasnt been made public) and at the same time work on getting his replacement at #4 cemented. Even move him to #3 till trott comes back or Root is ready.
