After four wins in four games, Ireland's successful run in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was interrupted by rain, which forced their game against Italy to be washed out without a ball bowled in Abu Dhabi. Ireland are the leaders of Group A, with nine points after five games. Hong Kong have eight.
The match between Uganda and USA was also washed out without a ball bowled, leaving both teams near the bottom of Group A with three points each. Uganda, however, are ahead on account of a better net run-rate.
