For all those explaining why Gayle shouldn't be picked are wrong. Chris Gayle is not contracted to the WICB so he is not obliged to take part in every match for his country. Neither does he seem interested in doing so. So there is no reason for him not to be bid on.

I keep reading a lot of people here complain about non-bids for Gayle, Ganguly, and many English players. Do any of you have common knowledge in cricketing return on investment ? how would you feel if you paid Mr. X or Y over a million dollars and then he only agrees to play 2 or 3 games in the IPL for the next 2 years due to international commitments ? would that make you feel happy ? is that even common sense ? Many of these 'Ashes heroes' from England won't be available for most of the IPL along with the West Indians. As far as Ganguly is concerned, his ONLY chance of playing in the IPL would have come if KKR bid for him. He's from Kolkata and I couldn't see him playing elsewhere. Last but not least, Brian Lara was not picked because he's old and not match fit. It would be a huge risk to get him given T20 is generally viewed as a young man's game.'

Tamim Iqbal not picked up by any team?!!!!!! This is what happens when you have businessmen trying to run cricket! Anyone with half a cricketing brain would have snapped up this outrageously gifted player. Enough said! By the way I am an Indian not a Bangladeshi!

As if he ever needed one, but come this 19th February, Tamim Iqbal would have a reason to teach those indian admins a lesson or two. They gonna be a sorry bunch. The Indians should embrace themselves for another 07 World Cup starter. Not having Tamim and Gayle in the IPL contradicts the very essence of T20 cricket. Its a shame really.

@meety, I agree, but there are some real bargains on that list, not just O'keefe. Birt @ 20 grand as well. Taity at 300 is decent value as well. And Mike Hussey at 425 grand is probably the bargain of the tournament. I'm pretty sure Deccan aren't going to regret picking up Christian though, even if he was 900 grand.

Posted by vikrampranav on (January 09 2011, 09:56 AM GMT) dada is goin to be bagged by pune as told by the owner of sahara in a press conference.

Er... how exactly will he be in the Pune team when he's not been bought by them? That can only happen if they have him as a sort of coach or mentor but Sahara wouldn't say it unless they could guarantee it.

  • on January 9, 2011, 13:48 GMT

Why Kochi has bought so many foreign players they have made a poor selection they should have gone for more Indian players because domestic players from Kerala are not so big names. lets hope hope that they sign some quality domestic players from other states

Bangalore looks like the youngest side. Perhaps they open with Pandey and Dishan, Kohli, AB, Tiwary, Kaif will follow(Pujara is on the card) Bowling with Zak, Nannes, Mithun, Vettori is sharing the bowling. There might be surprise like N Doshi and a batsman too. In AB, Dilshan, Kohli, Vettori, Kaif they do have the best fielders as well.

  • squarepeg on January 9, 2011, 12:22 GMT

teams which had not messed up their IPL I - III selection are the winners. Imagine what the top 4 players cost MI and CSK versus say KKR, which remains the worst side. The biggest shock is poor response to KP and Gayle, genuine match-winners. Their availability thru out the tournament must have been the reason, for it is unthinkable that a iffy performer like Yusuf Pathan gets 2.1 million and overseas stars went a-begging.

  • on January 9, 2011, 12:11 GMT

I think someone should pick up Tamim Iqbal, he is capable of exploding and loves to attack the best of bowlers.

Big surprise is tat CSK does not have a well experienced spinner by side.. Though Aswin can do magic, still he had a great morel support from Murali. Surely CSK miss murali....

Only good All-rounders are Shakib Al-Hasan and Abdul Razzaq, who by the way shockingly isn't yet sold. These franchises need to buy a brain before they can buy quality players!!!

  • on January 9, 2011, 11:15 GMT

Mumbai have made a big mistake letting zaheer khan go.. malinga is good to bowl in death .. they mite have to open with munaf patel/ bhajji as their frontline bowler in t20.. i am getting the feeling its going to cost them the IPL . ( who knows what state Tendulkar would be in depending on how India fare in the world Cup).. Things looking gleam for mumbai ..

I just wonder this time home team fans in most franchises like ours RCB will be wondering whom to support with most of their past 3 year home and foreign recruits like Kumble,Dravid,Vinay,Uttappa are out plus other stalwarts like Steyn,Kallis,Ross Taylor, pietersen, boucher also givenaway to others I wonder whether Vijay or Siddhart should have retained at least a couple of them to give that feeling to fans that it is our team All other teams except CSK and MI looks kichadi now

  • on January 9, 2011, 10:30 GMT

Chris Gayle unsold!!!!!???? Are you guys flipping INSANE!!!!!! He is unbelieveable--- Just hit 32 off an over....I reckon there is an awesome team sitting in the unsold section!!!

So it seems that Davy Jacobs is one of the 10 best t20 wicket keeper batsmen in the world - goin on this auction. Yet he is not considered as being good enough to play for South Africa's national team. His stats in this format is far better than any of the current keepers OR opening batsmen in his country.. Whats the problem then?? Great buy for Mumbai, at least they know quality when they see it - just like the rest of us

Can't understand Chennai's strategy...They're signing up overseas fast bowlers/medium pacers (Bollinger, Hilfenhaus, Scott Styris, Kulasekara, and Albie already retained)...just one local spinner(Ashwin)...and hardly any attacking batsman (no Haydos) !!

can we have another auction for unsold players with less bassprice???

  • natasrik on January 9, 2011, 7:12 GMT

IPL auction is total rubbish it makes no sense at all with some getting over 2 m and some going for less than 50K. I just don't understand why the foreign players need to play in this kind of situation, when they are not getting any justice for their talent. Infact I would say the respective boards should come into action and just boycott IPL. Infact I cannot imagine the logic behind some of the Indian players who are auctioned also. Zaheer for that matter got a cheap deal and infact surprised that Mumbai Indians did not retain him at first place. Tait the dangerous player in T2O also got a raw deal.

  • on January 9, 2011, 7:11 GMT

  • Thomas_George on January 9, 2011, 6:09 GMT

@cricket_fan_1980: As long as relations between India and Pakistan are sour, it is difficult for a franchise to hire Pakistani players. There is always a chance that Indian or Pakistani governments will restrict them. The teams may also get targeted by Shiv Sena et al. IPL is a business - managing risk is important for owners -- after all, it is their money.

  • Elkapitano on January 9, 2011, 6:00 GMT

  • on January 9, 2011, 4:33 GMT

Chennai has fought for their players and got almost all of them. Hussey,Vijay,Raina,Badri,Dhoni,Ashwin,Bollinger,Morkel,Bravo,Saha already in. Anirudh,Jakati and Balaji would also be bought. They can play the same XI as last time.I'm surprised with other teams picking more overseas players than local talent. You can field only 4 overseas players. Gambir,Yusuf,Rohit are not worth so much and Irfan has not played a single game this season was bought for crazy amnt

  • SamRoy on January 8, 2011, 16:40 GMT

@raghudev If Rahul Dravid was the brain behind RCB success thats why in the first IPL he opened with Wasim Jaffer? Once upon a time (approximately 4 years ago) Rahul was a favourite player of mine, but for the last 3 years he only fits the billing of a 'HAS BEEN GREAT BUT NO LONGER' who never knew when his time was up. A Kumble and Imran Khan fan through and through.

  • sanjeev23 on January 8, 2011, 15:10 GMT

i hope Delhi would have purchased good foreign players for its better performance. the great mistake they have done is by selling AB and collingwood as they need experienced and consistent performers at the middle order who can handle the game better when required. but after this auction they were empty handed may hope that david and sehwag handles the team well. if they fail then they will be facing a lot of problems.

  • on January 8, 2011, 15:10 GMT

Why would any of these guys want to play for their respective country. I assume when they play for their country it is simply so they can hone and demonstrate their skills so their price goes up at the IPL auctions. The country matches are analgous to playing college ball in the US and the IPL is analgous to the pros.

  • Anbu12345 on January 8, 2011, 15:06 GMT

Nobody bought Chris gayle because he didnot sign the central contract with WI. Good job by IPL and BCCI.. Thats why they ddin't also bid bravo for higher cost.. I dont understand why ppl r sulking abt grater prices for indian players & relatively less for international players. Agreed they r better & quality cricketers but u can accomodate only four of them in the team. So u have to look for availability during IPL, team balance, etc. As gilchrist pointed- its so much little the four internationals can do, ultimately it boils down to the domestic players. Look at mumbai in IPL-3, where d local talent rocked & took them to finals. I suppose the franchisees know what they r doing wit their money. Its hard earned after-all in this recession hit world.

  • raghudev on January 8, 2011, 14:36 GMT

  • inswing on January 8, 2011, 14:34 GMT

@Dino is correct, except that Indian player are always going to be overpriced compared to their ability, because of supply/demand issue. There are many excellent overseas players available, but each team can have only 4. Higher supply, low numbers of slots. There are fewer quality Indian players, but teams need 7 in the playing 11. Lower supply, higher demand. That is the reason why you see higher prices for Indians.

Macculam for 500,000, Wat a nonsence is this Kochi team Ka Dimag Kaan gaya if they bid 1.9 M for Robbin than they sould get Macc, i dint think that these investors have cricketing brain, putting 2.4 m on Gambhir whose ipl SR is 120 app., foolishness, he is not a 20-20 match winner, lot of other big mistakes

  • on January 8, 2011, 14:32 GMT

Good to see chennai bidding with plans. The teams are lookin good but indian players got too much this time. Its tough to see 1. Spinner in the world in tests swann not gettin a chance Particularly in spinning conditions. Good to see irfan among the top bids. I would have suggested chennai to have an young opener like finch. And its good for them that they have regained their players in the past seasons coz they were doing good as a unit. And it will take some time for the players to cope with the fellow players with whom they played against now. This will do a world of good for chennai. But ipl 4 will have equally balanced teams so we are lookin for a healthy contest.

  • inswing on January 8, 2011, 14:28 GMT

Stupidity again by KKR, doling out 2.4 and 2.1 mil for Gambhir and Pathan. These prices seem to be based only on egotistic bidding wars, which is the last thing you want to do. Actors/owners should stay out of picking players, and hire people who know what they are doing. US sports franchises have Presidents hired by the owners who make personnel decisions. Owners wisely stay out of it. Teams that have meddeling-type owners always do badly. Anderson, Swann, and Gayle are really good players that should have been picked.

Money talks and makes funny sounds! Crazy that people like Rohit and Gambhir go for such huge sums. And Yusuf and Irfan too! Good for these Players. They have good Karma and are reaping the fruits now.

Regardless of our views on this forum, the owners of franchises know best and they back their choices with money. Hopefully we will have a rivetting IPL with great T20 Cricket and non stop entertainment. Rahul Dravid is with Rajasthan Royals and not RCB. Who will cheer for Bengaluru without the epitome of Bengaluru?

  • on January 8, 2011, 14:21 GMT

I think mumbai has already sketched their first team & still have money left to buy the back up despite retaining as many as four prvious players. They have got experience at the top, hard hitting middle order with allrounders and lethal pace atack to follow. Good going mumbai. Just make sure ur back up is as strong as first team especially an explosive opener incase sachin is injured/misfiring. TOP Contenders for IPL 4. Comments welcome.

  • deepaksam on January 8, 2011, 14:20 GMT

Cant believe Chennai let go of Murali - who is almost a local! They now need some firepower like Gayle(to replave Haydos-No Mr Srikanths son is not an option:)) and Swann(to replace Murali). WIll be good to take in Murali Karthik as well.

  • cnksnk on January 8, 2011, 14:15 GMT

two clear trends. No team wants trouble makers and players with the wrong attitude - read laid back. Hence no one to select Ganguly, Gayle and Ryder. Second is that Chennai seems to be intent on choosing their old team back. They are not bidding aggressively for any one else. In fact I think that other teams have got the drift and hence are bidding to push up the price. See the price bidding for Badri..

  • on January 8, 2011, 14:13 GMT

Mumbai & Chennai is very balanced. Rajhastan is doomed - they picked only 1 Indian player - Dravid, payed almost 3M for 2 overseas spinners, no keeper - Boucher make sense? Banglore still dont have captain but good youth team - take Lara. Nannes, Zaheer & Vettori will be devastating. Pune is short of 1 Indian spinner, 1 strong batsman & 1 fast bowler. Kolkatta still needs a wicket keeper & 2 Indian strong batsmen & fast bowners. Kochi needs 1 pinch hitter. Punjab needs 3 Indian strong batsman. Delhi needs spinner & few more bat. It will be a good IPL 4, no one is favourite... Bring back Modi and add some fuel to the fire IPL needs :p

KKR are consistently demonstrating that they are not business savvy. They went in with a list of specific players and they kept bidding until they got them. Gauti is one of the most consistent and aggressive players... Great choice but to pay $2.4M is over paying. However, having said that it will be good to see SRK smile because they have a better choice of making it to the Semis with the new and improved team (GG, JK, YP, BL, etc.). Hopefully, GG will captain this side. I guess any team would do better without "the Dada". To all the Dada Lovers: All the comments and talk about his performance... and look where he ended.. in the "unsold" list.

  • spinkingKK on January 8, 2011, 14:01 GMT

Being an IPL opposition, I was somehow ready to compromise this season because Lara was on. But, nobody wants him. I though I will be supporting Kochi this season because it was rumoured that they will buy him. But no. Let the mad bashing begin. It is a shameful hit and miss game. Everybody wants to follow this. Even I can play IPL. I am up for auction for $100,000.

it is really surprising that Tamim Iqbal was not picked. He is a quality batsman with the ability to mesmerize the audiance along with Shakib Al Hasan. Hopefully he will make the IPL franchises tear their hair after the WORLD CUP.

  • on January 8, 2011, 13:55 GMT

Mumbai, Chennai and Rajasthan (except for wasting so much money on Botha) look formidable. Deccan, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata might take time for re-building with all their star players. Kochi, Delhi and Kings XI (are they out of their brains to spend so much on Nayar and Chawla?) sure to end at the bottom of the table.

The biggest blooper out of all the bids today has been made by Kochi, opting to buy Ravindra Jadeja for 950,000$ is staggering!! They have lost their senses...whoever advised them to bid for him!! Is he worth more than symonds, shakib,r.ashwin or even the unsold murali kartik?? Someone in Kochi is very close to jadeja...surely! else y would anyone want to buy someone who cant hit a couple of sixes to save his life neither dependable enough to bowl consistently & pick up wickets, that too for such a huge sum!!! Am just flabbergasted out of my wits!

  • Emancipator007 on January 8, 2011, 13:35 GMT

KP should have been chosen for Captain for Kochi or Pune and you would have had high-intensity encounters with these teams. Lara too could have motivated either of these teams and if a non-performing captain could be chosen for RR, then so could Lara. S Tiwary while potentially good just does not deserve such an amount. You begin to feel sorry for the Kanitkars, Mujumdars and others plying their wares for years on the Ranji circuit without any rewards.

  • on January 8, 2011, 13:29 GMT

alot of the prices have been given just because of the fact that some of the players were put up for auction first, so filled the places for the teams earliar on, i mean to see someone like botha go for nearly a million and the likes of mendis and swann unsold speaks volumes of the criteria.

  • Emancipator007 on January 8, 2011, 13:27 GMT

Shocking!Warne for 1.8 million just because the other top retained players got that much. He was an utter failure in last 2 IPLs as a player. Let's not talk about captaincy in a still topsy-turvy, momentum-driven format as Gambhir and Ganguly would attest to. International captain Smith could still have captained RR in all 3 editions (I know he was injured in 1 edition). With R. Sharma getting $2 million each for 3 editions means finito to any motivation playing for Tests for India. Y Pathan's price is another joke after just 1 yes 1! substantial innings in last IPL and an utter failure at international level after many chances. Irfan does not play or prove himself in current domestic season and bags a million plus contract. Contrast the high-funda, "analytical" quotes given by the franchisee insiders and operations directors in the cricinfo IPL 2011 auction preview and their silly buying decisions at the actual auction.

  • shubham3 on January 8, 2011, 13:25 GMT

KKR players(Former/2010 season) have suffered a lot.Gayle,Ganguly,Mendis,Murli Katik unsold.Mccullum,Ishant sold at a much lower price than last season.Kolkatta was just totally allergic to all former players.

  • sanstud on January 8, 2011, 13:19 GMT

cant see bangalore boys like rahul and robin playing for another team, so heart breaking. what is the use of a bangalore team without bangalore boys in it an whats the use of kkr without ganguly in it. the owners must understand this. ultimately it is the ppl from that particular place who come and support the team and they want to see their local players play for the local team.. the teams should have stayed just the way it was. imagine ross taylor who is worshiped in bangalore playing for another team against bangalore. not fair. the crowd is attached to the players and the players to the crowd. personally i dont like the way it is turning out.hey but thats my opinion.

  • ashokpati on January 8, 2011, 13:19 GMT

mumbai indians have got a vry gud player in very low price and am sure that he will dominate the ipl and he will be the key man and he is davy jacobs..he will surely win a lot matches for mumbai...others would regret of not having him.

  • on January 8, 2011, 13:18 GMT

We've got enough examples in form of sachin nd kallis...these guys showed experience does count in any form of da game...it would hav been a lot better if the franchises made the bidding by including experience as well as young blood in da teams instead of just goin for hard hitting batsmen....it's not goin to serve them any good...

  • Dino11 on January 8, 2011, 13:16 GMT

Its very clear that owners have not done any homework. Many of their purchase is without any sound logic. Its really silly numbers, few of the indian players got.I am indian but i m not supportive to leaving quality of overseas players just becoz u hav indian option, that too by paying millions of $$$. Gambhir no matter how good he is, does not deserve to get 2.4m.Its time for team owners to get right team to guide them on table during auction. When u look at the body lang of most of them, none of them give good impression. Thr is no real board room talk during giving new figure. Just simply, guys / gals jump it. They spoiled the whole thing. These ppl just have money, no cricketing brain...i am disappointed with so many good players like Gayle, Swann, anderson left out and players like irfan, gambhir & many other indians getting undeserving value. Hope tomorrow these fools will use their head and bid. Give value to cricketing talent.

I think the biggest surprises are Tamim Iqbal,Luke Wright and Jesse Ryder remaining unsold.Tamim won the game for Bangladesh against India in the 2007 world cup in the first 15 overs.Ryder is an explosive batsman.Luke wright is a good all-rounder.There is no question over his availibility as he is not a part of the english test side.

  • Mohit1987 on January 8, 2011, 13:13 GMT

Mumbai messed up!!!!! they didn't bid for good quality players. Zaheer was must & they didn't even fought for it. Sorry Mumbai Indians fans we are not gonna win the IPL title. We don't even have good bowling line up just malinga and bhajji thats it. We needed drik nannes or dale styen. And we dont even have player who can ensure that we can win the game still in the last overs.

KKR should have held on to Ganguly... he held this together for 3 seasons... but more importantly....KKR hav done gr8 job to secure Gambhir and Y.Pathan... It would strengthen their batting line up.... and they ll have these two Star players available throughout the season instead of just buying Big Stars and having to send them off for international duties during IPL... Great Job KKR ppl, u hav really encounterd this deficency in your team....

Graeme Swann unsold .come on man this guy played a key role in England's success in the last year's T20 world cup and is pretty good in all 3 formats of the game .Besides he is no mug with the bat either .Sourav Ganguly and Chris Gayle ,these guys are potential match winners on their own Though Saurav has retired from the game one can't discard his potential .This auction is quite an intricate process i reckon ain't it ?

    wHaT about TAMIM IQBAL????

  • Rumy1 on January 8, 2011, 11:10 GMT

Here is my two cents on auctions so far...

Robin Uthappa for $2.1 million...Clearly overpriced. Pune got it absolutely wrong. Irfan Pathan for $1.9 million....Clearly overpriced. Delhi got it really wrong.

David Hussey for $1.4 million...Clearly overpriced. Johan Botha $950,000... Clearly overpriced. Dinesh Karthik for $900,000....Clearly overpriced. Abhishek Nayar for $800,000..Clearly overpriced. As usual Punjab again got it wrong in all four cases.

Jacques Kallis for $1.1 million...Clearly Underpriced. Shakib al Hasan for $425,000....Clearly Underpriced. KKR got great deals here in both cases.

Ross Taylor for $1 million...Overpriced. RR got it wrong. Zaheer Khan for $900,000...Clearly Underpriced. RCB got a great deal here. Saurabh Tiwary for $1.6 million...Overpriced. RCB got it wrong though. Kumar Sangakkara for $700,000. ClearlyUnderpriced. Deccan got a deal here. Brendon McCullum for $475,000....Underpriced. Kochi got a great deal here.

    Contd

  • on January 8, 2011, 11:08 GMT

Sakib, the no. 1 one all rounderwas sold only for$ 425,000? And Ravindra Jadeja, I never saw him to play a big role or a match winning role, worth for 950,000??? This is a real insult for the true talent!!!

  • on January 8, 2011, 11:08 GMT

Sakib Al Hashan is world best ODI all rounder and 5th best ODI blower.

We are proud as a Bangladeshi for Sakib Al Hashan.

  • Rajiv_Singhi on January 8, 2011, 10:57 GMT

Gayles not being purchases by anybody is a big surprise. He was a steal at the base price.

  • chaza13a on January 8, 2011, 10:57 GMT

why wouldnt anyone by gayle?!? gambhir isnt even a huge hitter of the ball in this form is he?

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:52 GMT

Hello Rajsthan Royal team please call to Kamran Khan, one bad news for Rajasthan Royal, yousef Pathan went to KKR. I think yousse pathan will be best Player of IPL 4.

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:52 GMT

Gayle only available for 2 weeks of IPL, hence no bid.

  • Procter on January 8, 2011, 10:50 GMT

Gayle didn't get picked in the auction because he is avalaible to play in IPL only for a week ie upto April 12. WI need to change its international match calender to fit in with IPL, like Sri Lanka, South Africa, NZ etc have done, otherwise their players lose big bucks!

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:49 GMT

  • sweetspot on January 8, 2011, 10:41 GMT

Overrated - Yusuf, Gambhir (love them both, but these figures are not right). Underrated - Dilshan, KP. So far, this is pretty seriously out of whack, but this is the auction system! I suppose each franchise sees value in making their combination work?

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:41 GMT

Price for Shakib Al Hasan is less. KKR is gainer here. Wish you best luck Shakib!

  • unni.india on January 8, 2011, 10:40 GMT

Something is going really wrong with all these.. the players who can take the game into the hands are out ther unsold. and those who are struggled to get into Indian team are sold for diamond prices.. happy news is that Jayawardhane is in Kochi team, and got a gud price too.. along with Mc.Cullam he can make wonders...

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:39 GMT

Kochi, take Gayle as opener..he can demolish any bowler at anytime..Buy a good fast bowler like styn or Ryan harris..What is about Shane watson?

  • on January 8, 2011, 10:38 GMT

An absolute steal by Chennai the way they got Bravo for $200,000! Chennai's been the most strategic and smart buyers so far. Their strategy: Get back the winning combination.

  • I_Robot on January 8, 2011, 10:30 GMT

McCullum 475,000 = Alteast he plays all forms of the game for NZ, has scored Test & ODI hundreds and even scored an IPL 20/20 hundred and an international 20/20 hundred. I am amazed that the following below got more than him:

S Tiwary1.6 million = Never played Test cricket for Ind, only plays ODI for Ind when so many of the regulars have been rested and never played an international 20/20, yet he gets 1.6mill? D Hussey 1.4 million = Never been selected for Test cricket for Aus and probably never will, in and out of the ODI team and 20/20 team for Aus, never a regular for Aus in any form of cricket, did not even get a Cricket Aus contract, yet he's worth 1.6 mill? Dinesh 900,000 = Glovework shocking, getting worse year by year, not even a big hitter or hard hitter, not picked for any form of cricket for India, slowly dropped off the test team and ODI team for Ind, yet this guy is worth almont a mill? This is so unbelievable, the whole competition is a disgrace!!

Oh my... what do we have here????? Andrew Symonds and Harbhajan Singh playing in same team... Rite than, lets see if they maintain the cold war, or they will shake hands and put the ugly spat behind them.. Rajasthan and kkr shaping up really well, but how nobody wants gayle is beyond me.. surely the guy is a freak in this format...

bhajji and symonds for mumbai :P pune also making good buys MAHARASHTRA FTW !!!!!

  • I_Robot on January 8, 2011, 8:53 GMT

IPL is. GAMBHIR 2.4 million = Not even considered a big hitter or hard hitter compared to others, further when Sachin & Veru are picked, he can't even get a ODI game for Ind, not an allrounder, how does he achieve the record price; UTHAPPA 2.1 million = Can't even make the 30 probable ODI squad for Ind, does not even get selected for Ind to play int 20/20 games, been injured for a while now, still a team bids 2.1 mill for him?; R SHARMA $2 million = In & out of ODI side for Ind, so inconsistent, at times lucky to be playing for Ind at all, is he worth 2 mill?; I PATHAN $1.9 million = Not even been picked to play any form of cricket for Ind for a while now, must be a reason for this, how is he worth 1.9 mill? Botha, 950,000 = With the price he got, can anyone believe that this guy is the best 20/20 spinner in the world? JOKE!

And Gayle cannot even fetch a price? All this is ABSOLUTE MADDNESS!

  • Debmalyalodh1 on January 8, 2011, 8:50 GMT
