I think Sahil wants to say that India won the world cup because they wanted to win it for Sachin. Hence, Sachin is a lucky charm to reach your goal. The other countries' selectors are just cashing in on this lucky charm by saying they are "doing (rebuilding) it for Sachin." as they think thats the only thing thats working these days. Not an instant joke though. The punchline is not exactly in the LATEST happenings.
