Rohit: three double-hundreds; Others: four

Some of Rohit's many milestones in Mohali ESPNcricinfo Ltd

3- Number of double-centuries for Rohit Sharma in ODIs. All other players have combined for only four double-hundreds. Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill have hit one double-century each. Rohit is the second captain, after Sehwag to achieve the feat. This means Rohit now has five 150-plus scores - the joint-most with Tendulkar and David Warner.

36- Balls taken by Rohit to score his second hundred, after having completed his first off 115 balls. Rohit went from 116 to 208 off just 27 balls with 11 sixes and three fours.

188.39- Rohit's strike-rate after completing his centuries in ODIs. His strike-rate, in this innings, when he reached hundred was 86.95 and after the century, it soared to 284.21. In his previous two double-centuries, too, Rohit had strike-rates of over 200 after reaching the first hundred.

812- Runs scored by Rohit after passing hundred in 16 innings - the most by a batsman after reaching hundred in ODIs since 2001. Virat Kohli takes the second place in this list with 665 runs after passing hundred in 32 innings.

107- Runs scored by Rohit in the last 10 overs off 37 balls, the fourth highest by any batsman since 2001 and second highest by him. He had hit 110 off 44 from last 10 overs in his 264 against Sri Lanka in 2014. He had hit 96 off 35 balls in the last 10 during his 209 in 2013. He features thrice in in this table topped by AB de Villiers' 121 off 36 against West Indies in 2015 when he smashed the fastest ODI century. In fact, he smacked 92 off 27 balls in the last seven overs, which is the joint second-most by any batsman in that phase since 2001.

3- Number of India batsmen with more ODI centuries than Rohit who now has 16 hundreds, moving past Sehwag's 15. Only Tendulkar (49), Kohli (32) and Sourav Ganguly (22) are ahead of Rohit.

45- Sixes by Rohit in ODIs this year, including 12 in this match, is the most for an India batsman in a year, going past Tendulkar's 40 sixes in 1998. Rohit's tally is now the third-highest for any batsman behind AB de Villiers' 58 sixes in 2015 and Shahid Afridi's 48 sixes in 2002.

2000- The last time an India opener scored six or more ODI centuries in a year, before Rohit in 2017. Ganguly had hit six in 2000 while Tendulkar had made an equal number of hundreds in 1996 and nine in 1998.

106- Runs conceded by Nuwan Pradeep - the joint third-most by a bowler in an ODI. Only Mick Lewis (113) and Wahab Riaz (110) have conceded more against South Africa and England respectively. Rohit hit 67 off 32 balls against Pradeep in this game. It's the second highest by a batsman against a bowler in an ODI innings since 2001.

364- Runs scored by India's top-three in this ODI - Rohit 208*, Shikhar Dhawan 68 and Shreyas Iyer 88 - the third-most for any team in a match and highest for India. The previous highest for India were 343 runs against New Zealand in Hyderabad in 1999.
