Bangladesh v India

The Indians in Bangladesh, 2004-05

15-Apr-2005
At Dhaka, December 27, 2004 (day/night). India won by 91 runs. Toss: India.
After their shock defeat, India came storming back, foaming at the mouth. Sehwag, who had failed all tour, blistered an angry 70 in 52 balls and Tendulkar belligerently knocked out 47, as India sped away to a flyer in the series decider. Dravid and Ganguly then took over, nursing their way through the middle overs, taking no chances and sparing no loose balls. They added 98 in 19 overs before leaving it to Yuvraj Singh to finish things off with a brutal 69 in 32 balls, with eight fours and three sixes. Bangladesh responded as best they could to India's 348 for five, with Rajin Saleh compiling a workmanlike 82, but the task was far too steep.
Man of the Match: V. Sehwag. Man of the Series: M. Kaif.
