Punjab's slide continued, their top order flopping once again
as the Chargers recorded their first IPL victory over the Kings XI. It was set up by some manic
hitting from Gilchrist in the first three overs (33 from 12 balls), before a more measured half-century
from Symonds. That proved too much: the target swelled to 67 from 24 balls and, although some
pyrotechnics from Irfan Pathan reduced that to 19 from the final over, he was out to its first ball.
