Pakistan team fined for slow over-rate

Pakistan captain Rashid Latif was fined 20 per cent of his match fee while the rest of the team was fined 10 per cent of their match fee for slow over-rate in the third and final one-day international against England at Lord's.

In the 227 minutes of playing time, Pakistan bowled 48.3 overs whereas in that stipulated time, they should have turned down 54 overs. They were 5.3 overs behind but despite being given an allowance of 13 minutes, they were still three overs short.

The fine was imposed by Match Referee Gundappa Viswanath.
