PAKISTAN v WEST INDIES 1990-91

At Lahore, November 11

15-Apr-1992
At Lahore, November 11. Pakistan won by five wickets. Toss: West Indies. This was Pakistan's 200th one-day international, and after being 23 for three in the tenth over they came back well to win it. As in Karachi, Salim Malik first steadied the innings and then dominated it, taking Pakistan to victory with a superbly struck 91 not out from 98 balls. Imran batted defiantly at the other end.
West Indies, electing to bat first, had lost Greenidge and Richardson at 29 within the space of three balls to Saleem Jaffer, but Haynes and Best put on 50 in fifteen overs. Haynes was twice dropped by Jaffer off Akram Raza and Saeed Anwar. When leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed bowled Marshall and Logie, the West Indians were struggling, but Hooper and Dujon thrashed 36 in five overs to give their bowlers something to defend.
Man of the Match: Salim Malik.
