Australia v South Africa
Wisden's review of the seventh match, Australia v South Africa
Like his 100th Test, at Bangalore the previous November, de Villiers's 200th one-day international for South Africa was ruined by the weather. Starc's single over was followed by three hours' rain, but - just as play seemed possible, and with the outfield sufficiently dry - the groundstaff spilled water on the pitch. The points were shared, leaving both sides needing to win their last group match, against West Indies, to reach the final.
