One of the fastest bowlers in the women's game clocking speeds in excess of 120kph, Vlaeminck is consistently part of Australia's first-choice squads when fit but has endured a multitude of series injuries in her short career to date. Vlaeminck fought back from two knee reconstructions and a shoulder dislocation to make her international debut in 2018 and was part of Australia's T20 World Cup-winning squad in 2018 but played just one match in the tournament. She made her Test debut in the 2019 Ashes series and looked on track to be one of Australia's main weapons in their 2020 T20 World Cup title defence. But after bowling superbly in the lead-in tri-series against India and England she was diagnosed with a stress fracture in her right foot and missed 12 months of cricket. She returned to international cricket on Australia's tour of New Zealand in 2021.
