44b to HC Knight, holes out to cover! Poor shot, hitting with the spin, but with no conviction, just flopped into the off side where Mandhana barely has to move. The skipper is gone. 40/3 44b to DB Sharma, appeal for the stumping! And that's out! Sharma gets in a tangle, over-stretching to her first ball, does the splits as the ball turns past her legs. And finally, one of the innumerable wides serves a purpose for Brave! Rudd gathers well enough, after a fumble, to whip off the bails. 41/4 82b to TT Beaumont, leading edge, swallowed at cover! Huge wicket for Brave, Beaumont hasn't been at her best, but at least she's been there. But this time the ball bites on a good length, loops high into the off side, and Spirit are seven-down. 78/7 85b to AD Carr, flight and bite, and done like a kipper! Outstanding from Wellington, tossed above the eyeline, dipping on a good length, Carr topples forward, deceived in the air, then beaten off the pitch by big turn! 19b to S Mandhana, on the back foot, big appeal! And if that was pad first, this will be close! Knight reviews, and yep, the bat was late on this! Pitching on leg, hitting middle-and-off. That's the breakthrough! And the intra-India battle has been won and lost. 19/1 62b to SIR Dunkley, reverse sweep, and straight to point! Well, that'll help Spirit's hopes of dragging it out. Interesting choice from Dunkley, perhaps the conventional sweep might have been better from the leg-stump line, but in the end she gets in a tangle and it's a simple top edge to Dottin. 59/3 | ||||||||||
