0.3 to Sahibzada Farhan, Back to over the wicket, rattles the stumps with a crackerjack! Slightly short and jags back just enough to beat his adventurous and ambitious swing towards backward square, bails flying everwhere and Afghanistan strike in the firsrt over. Fazal is superb with the new ball, does the. needful! The crowd, so boisterous and erufts in joy, huge support for Afghanistan. 0/1
19.2 to Mohammad Nawaz, takes the pace off and gets it to curl back from a slightly shorter length and outside off, takes him and goes for a swing towards deep midwicket, connected well but didn't get enough distance, Ibrahim takes a few steps back and pouches it brilliantly, certainly improved his. batting, has been churning out runs on a consistent basis. Afghanistan would be happy to restrict Pakistan under 150. 136/8

18.5 to Faheem Ashraf, comes closer towards off-stump line and he goes for the cut, getting a faint edge to the keeper, sharp reflexes and Ghazanfar gets his man. A good cameo nevertheless, hit some meaty shots. 130/7
402807.0092110
401724.25110030
7.5 to Saim Ayub, bowls it full and gets it to drift and spin, it's like he is hypnotized and couldn't hold himself back from falling into the trap, not really picking him well and the extra bounce troubled him too, pushed straight to Rashid at short cover. Soft dismissal. 49/2
11.3 to Mohammad Haris, Pakistan collapsing like a house of cards! Haris goes down and tries a slog sweep, doesn't account for the spin, the ball turns away from the bat and he misses it completely and makes a mess of his stumps. Half of the team is back in the hut. Afghanistan are right on top and their world-class spinners are shining! Pakistan need major rebuilding work and adjust their target, cannot afford to drop their guard now. 72/5
403839.5072300
8.2 to Fakhar Zaman, Fuller legbreak on middle and gets negligble amount of spin but it's enough to breach his defence and it looks stone dead, umpire didn't have any hesitation and has adjudged it out. Afghanistan rejoice, they get the big fish! Pakistan in a little bit of bother. Rashid strikes in his first over, he knows Fakhar's strengths and shortcomings well. 51/3
10.5 to Hasan Nawaz, tossed up fuller and outside off, presents another opportunity and this time he perishes, he wanted to turn on Afridi mode and perishes as he tries to go big again, pouched at long-on. Rasooli takes a gem under the night-sky, it hung in the air for a long while. Trying to fathom the rush and sudden urgency, he got the boundary, could have relaxed a bit, it's not like we were into the last five overs. 69/4
16.5 to Agha Salman, Rashid has the last laugh and he shrugs and it's a lovely celebration, Agha plays all around it, stepping back deep into the crease to pull and getting a top edge towards deep third's right, pouched safely while backtracking. Fabulous work, Afghanistan manage to find ways to break partnerships just when they start to become threatening. 112/6

0.5 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Edged and taken! Almost a carbon copy of the previous delivery, cutter that swirls away and he tries to run it down to deep third but ends up giving a regulation catch to first slip. Huge wicket, exactly what Pakistan required while defending a modest total. 7/1
401724.25161020
4.4 to Sediqullah Atal, Abrar has the last laugh! Bowled full at off with away angle, spooned straight to man at cover who takes a simple catch. A soft dismissal, lifted it up but couldn't clear the fielder and not fully under it, cramped for room. 28/2
10.4 to Mohammad Nabi, Gets him on the very next delivery, dangles a carrot by bowling it short and wide, he slaps it to Salman at cover who was blindsighted but somehow held on to the catch, innings continue to peter out. 46/7

5.5 to Darwish Rasooli, squealing for an lbw and the appeal is relentless. Umpire took a lot of time before raising the finger. Pitched fuller on middle and gets it to straighten from there, he doesn't pick the line and it looks quite adjacent, no DRS so cannot be examined fully. Afghanistan in a spot of bother, lost three inside powerplay, Need a solid partnership. 29/3
5.6 to Azmatullah Omarzai, Two in two! It's carnage out there! Wild celebrations not only on the ground but also in the aisles. Shorter in length and some turn away from off, tries to chop it away and gets caught behind! Nawaz roars and continues to enjoy a stellar comeback to the national team. He has been a vital cog since that last series against West Indies, confidence is high, more assured about his skills and go-to deliveries. 29/4
7.1 to Ibrahim Zadran, around the wicket, floated fuller and gets it to slide across off, appeal for a stumping and Haris was absolutely adamant that he got him and he does! Check from the third umpire and indeed there is nothing behind the crease so Nawaz gets his hattrick! He is on top of his game and has stunned the Afghanistan stringent of crowd. Marvelous bowling, pursuing with the off-stump line and befuddling batters with his canny off-spin and pace variatons. Nightmarish start for Afghanistan. They are long way behind in this game now.. 32/5
7.4 to Karim Janat, He is making pickings wickets ridiculously easy! On fire once again, now another subtle change in length, pushes it fuller on middle and doesn't offer much pace, it straightens a wee bit and beats his sweep, goes without troubling the scorers. Afghanistan not able to deal with the pressure and nothing is working in their favor. Ball thundered intot he front pad and a straightforward decision for the umpire.. 32/6
12.2 to Rashid Khan, Nasty collision between Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Haris but Salman made sure to hang onto it, reverse cupping it and Haris was hurtling towards the ball too. Rashid tried to loft it downtown again and ended up skewing a top-edge, taken near cover. It was an angry knock by Rashid who is let down by batters, he came and unleashed onslaught right from the word go. 55/8
2.50923.17130100
13.1 to Noor Ahmad, Tossed up just outside off and he wafts it to third man, Abrar Ahmed takes a spectacular running catch. Chaotic attempt at the target, just no sense of calm and never really able to recover from the early jolt. 57/9
15.5 to AM Ghazanfar, that'll be that! An utterly clinical performance from Pakistan! Afghanistan fans are crestfallen as their team didn't turn up tonight. Ball didn't turn on this occasion, just held its line outside off, he throws his bat at it and a thick outside edge carries to Abrar at short third. Pakistan win the tri-series This is the second lowest total defended at Sharjah.. 66/10
