18.2 to MM Ali, another high ball, and caught again! Length ball just outside off and the two-paced nature of the surface does for another Giants batter. The ball sticks in the surface and Moeen, swinging for the hills, miscues it completely. Long on runs in, settles himself and sends Moeen on his way!. 165/5

13.3 to JM Vince, goes a mile up, and straight into Hetmyer's palms at deep mid wicket! Tanveer tests out the middle of the track outside off. Vince thinks this is there to be swiped over cow corner but gets the timing all wrong. Off the bottom part of the bat and Hetmyer, stationed well inside the fence, does the rest!. 127/2 13.5 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, in the air and snaffled up again by Hetmyer! Shortish just outside off and this seems to skid off the surface too. Gurbaz has designs to pull it but like Vince earlier in the over, cloths it. The ball lobs towards deep mid wicket, where Hetmyer tracks it all the way and then lunges forward to complete the catch. Smart grab, and Tanveer has two in the over!. 128/3
| 4 | 0 | 47 | 2 | 11.75 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 1 | 0 | |
6.6 to P Nissanka, Nissanka chops onto his own stumps, and his batting clinic is over! Shorter, flatter and quicker on off stump. Nissanka opts to stay back and hack at it, but is a touch late on the stroke. The ball skids on, kisses the inside edge and then cannons into the stumps. Big, big wicket for the Vipers, but take nothing away from a sensational tone-setting knock!. 73/1 16.6 to Azmatullah Omarzai, Omarzai gets this all wrong, and Noor has the last laugh! Shortish on middle and off, and this fizzes through after pitching. Omarzai has a swipe across the line but is hurried into his stroke. Shanks it terribly and deep mid wicket, stood a few yards inside the fence, does the rest. Omarzai departs for a 13-ball 20 and the Giants will need someone else to provide them with a finishing kick now!. 159/4

15.1 to SM Curran, Curran skies it, and does not get away with it! Brilliant by Omarzai! Back of a length outside off. Curran is tempted into a slog downtown but makes a slight mess of it. Slices it and that brings Omarzai into the equation at long on. He charges in, keeps his eyes on the ball the entire way and then drops to the floor to complete the catch. There is a check to see if the ball was grounded as he lodged it between his forearm and his chest, but nothing doing on that count. Curran is outta here, and Thushara pops up with a vital breakthrough!. 122/4 18.3 to Hasan Nawaz, Nawaz picks out deep point, and this game turns again! Thushara sticks to his guns, but the key difference is this ball is much shorter. Seems like a cutter too, meaning Nawaz has to generate all the pace. He throws his hands at it but slices it straight down Erasmus' throat. The Giants' owners are jubilant in the stands; Nawaz, utterly disappointed!. 160/7
| 4 | 0 | 36 | 1 | 9.00 | 7 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
3.2 to AGS Gous, straight to deep square leg, and Gous perishes too! Bumper outside off and this seems to climb through to Gous. He chances his arm, hitting to the longer boundary, but does not get the desired connection. Arrows it towards Erasmus and Gous could not have picked him out better even if he tried. Vipers two down early in the piece!. 14/2
| 4 | 0 | 32 | 4 | 8.00 | 10 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
2.2 to Fakhar Zaman, goes straight up, and Fakhar has been put out of his misery! Banged into the track outside off and this seems to just hold in the surface. Fakhar has an almighty swipe at it but the ball just does not arrive. Off the toe-end and Dawson, settling under it at mid on, accepts the offering with glee. Fakhar's troubled nine-ball stay, which yielded a solitary run, is over!. 8/1 17.2 to SO Hetmyer, Hetmyer with another shank, but this time, he picks out the fielder! Slower ball hung up on a length way outside off. Hetmyer tries to fetch it and drag it over deep mid wicket. Nowhere near the middle of the bat and the ball spoons towards deep mid wicket. A bit of a bobble for Adair on the fence but he does enough in the end. Timely wicket for the Giants!. 142/5 17.6 to DW Lawrence, slapped straight to long off, and Omarzai bags another big fish! Length ball outside off. Lawrence dances down the track and tries to muscle this. Does not quite get under it enough, though, and does not keep it down either. Hits it well but flat and straight to Dawson, who was never going to drop that. Massive, massive wicket in the game's context!. 149/6 19.2 to Khuzaima Tanveer, Gurbaz charges in, and Gurbaz takes the catch! Yet another twist in this contest! Slower bumper wide outside off and Tanveer sees his name up in lights. Tries to finish off this contest with one blow but he loses his shape in the process. An ungainly tug in the end and Gurbaz, originally stationed at long on, sprints in like there is no tomorrow. Throws himself at the ball and makes it stick. Vipers eight down now, but still seven away!. 173/8
| 4 | 0 | 45 | 1 | 11.25 | 4 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
8.6 to MDE Holden, chopped on, and Razzaq breaks this partnership! Slower ball on a length outside off. Holden gives himself room to go inside-out but loses his shape slightly. The bottom hand takes over too much as well and all Holden manages is an inside edge onto leg stump. A run-a-ball 15 for the 27-year-old, and the Vipers have been pegged back again!. 62/3

0.6 to DW Lawrence, Lawrence holes out, and the Vipers finish their Super Over with 13! Slanted in full on leg stump. Lawrence wants to smash this over the batter's head but the bat face opens upon contact. A bit of a slice in the end and Dawson tears in from long off and then lunges forward to snare the chance smartly!. 13/1
