Dawkins looks to drive slightly away from his body, and the ball, finishing outside off, takes off from the outside half of the bat. The point fielder takes the ball with a reverse cup above his head as Scotland strike very early. 12/1 24.1 to J Moores, "Catch it!" is the cry and taken at deep midwicket! Change of pace delivery on a length around the off stump channel, plays the wild hoick across the line and doesn't quite get hold of it this time, struck with the inside part of the bat and clips it to the left of deep midwicket. The sweeper fielder comes around and dives in, juggles the ball a few times and then manages to hold on to it.. 200/2 | ||||||||

32.3 to THS Rew, edged behind!! The England captain falls. Woodhouse had Mayes dropped in his last over, and gets Rew in this one. Shorter side of a length, and just outside off from Woodhouse. I thought the ball straightened after being angled in, and as Rew looked to jab, he got an outside edge for a simple catch for the Scotland captain. 247/3 42.2 to CM Falconer, Picks out the long off fielder! Slight fuller length ball outside the sixth stump line, bludgeons it through the line of the ball and connects with the toe-end of the bat; he hits it hard and flat, the long off fielder walks a few steps in and completes the catch.. 331/4 46.4 to RB Albert, Soft dismissal! Hard length ball on the stumps, charges down the track again and goes for the wild hoick across the line, connects the sticker part of the bat and chips it to the midwicket fielder inside the ropes.. 364/6 | ||||||||

A juicy low full toss ball dipping down the leg-side, Mayes premeditates the reverse sweep and plays away from the body, nicks this one and Knight gobbles it up behind the stumps and holds on to a sharp catch. A thunderous round of applause erupts from both the crowd and the dressing room. The Scotland players show great sportsmanship, patting him on the back and shaking his hand as he departs. Seeing that length, Knight went for the pull, but I think the ball didn't get up as much as he would have liked for that shot. It ended up ballooning, and going to Rew's left. He turned halfway to his left and the entirely so while moving forward, and kept his eyes on it as it dipped. 38/2 | ||||||||

10.6 to T Robinson, chipped to mid-off!! That comes off the outside half of the bat - it nearly seemed like a slice - as Albert takes a step back to grab the ball. Hands angled it in, and went full around off. Robinson's bottom hand came off the bat as he looked to loft this ball, but he ended up doing that with an angled bat which finished around leg. 18.3 to M Saraswat, He's nicked it! Slower through the air ball on a length turning away outside off, clears the front leg and tries to play the late cut through backward point, gets the faintest of the outside edge and Rew holds on to it behind the stumps. A loose stroke in the end, and Saraswat has to depart.. 52/4 36.2 to F Carter, only half an appeal for lbw, and given!! Yup, the first replay indicates the ball would have hit middle stump. Albert angled the ball in, and bowled it full on leg at a much higher pace. The ball turned away - rather, I thought it only straightened - as Carter went for the sweep. 13.5 to RFG Grant, good, low catch by Moores!! He's placed somewhere in between a short mid-on and short midwicket, and does well to catch this dipping ball just off the ground by going low. Farhan tossed this ball up a little at Grant, who ended up nudging it aerially from a full length just outside off. Grant ended up falling as the ball also turned into him. 46/3 | ||||||||

Full and straight on the stumps, walks across the line and plays the on-drive tentatively, hits it aerially and mistimes the stroke to the mid-on ring fielder.. 85/5 26.2 to F Jones, Bouncer ball on the stumps, Jones stands tall and plays the pull shot, commits a bit too late and mishits the ball to the mid-on fielder for a regulation catch. More trouble for Scotland!. 87/7 44.5 to Ram Sharma, Falconer gets his third scalp!
