Nine cricket clubs from England will tour the UAE to play against the tongue-twisterly named Delhi Private School Young Talents Cricket Academy Under-13 and Under-15 teams. Gulfnews has more.
"Many club teams from England are keen to play in UAE and we have agreed to host them. Two club teams from Yorkshire and another from London will be here soon. Matches against these teams will provide good exposure for our boys too," said Shehzad Altaf, the chief coach of the DPS Young Talents Academy.
The M23XI Club team from Sussex are currently touring the UAE. The DPS YTA Academy under-13 and under-15 boys bowed to M23 XI at the Delhi Private School ground.

Aftab Habib, the former England batsman, has been appointed as Hong Kong’s coach on a three-year contract.
Habib, 35, was selected from a field of 25 candidates according to the website of the Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA).
"We did a very extensive search and narrowed it down to a shortlist of four,” Clive Howard, the HKCA chairman said. “Aftab was our final choice. “We have offered him a three-year contract. One of the main conditions for the job was that the new coach be based in Hong Kong."

A few of you have contacted us to ask how the inaugural ACC Twenty20 Cup is getting along. We're struggling to find actual scorecards, but can tell you that Nepal have beaten Malaysia in the opening round.
Nepal recovered from 84/6 to accumulate 121/9 in 20 overs –thanks to 38-run seventh wicket stand by Basant Regmi and captain Binod Das. Malaysia was bowled out for 100 runs in 18.5 overs.
A full report is available at Nepal's enthusiastically updated website. According to the Kuwait Cricket Association's site, Nepal were today beaten by Qatar.

Nepal beat Malaysia in the opening match of the ACC 20-20 Cup cricket tournament, winning by 21 runs. Nepal made 122 for 9 after being sent in, with Basanta Regmi topscoring. He made 33.
He was also in the wickets, taking three to help dismiss Malaysia for 101. Rahul BK also took three, while Mehboob Alam grabbed two. Nepal's next match is against Qatar on Sunday.

Vanuatu have announced their 14-man squad for the East Asia–Pacific Trophy in New Zealand, a blend of youth and experience.
The regional tournament begins in Auckland in late November and the squad is already training three days a week. A number of practice matches will take place before their departure on November 28.
As the pool of young talented players that have been nurtured through the VCA’s junior development program in the past five years begins to mature, the impact on the senior squad can only be positive.

Cricinfo's USA correspondent Deb K Das reviews the so-called new USACA constitution and finds that it is all a bit familiar.
In yet another display of the obduracy that has become endemic to its activities, the USACA Cricket Association trotted out a so-called 'final' version of a constitution that ICC had requested over a year ago. In doing so, it managed to ignore one salient fact; a redraft of the old constitution had been prepared and submitted to USACA in December 2006.
