Frederick Henry ('Freddie') Grisewood, the well-known broadcaster, who died at
Grayshott, Hampshire, on November 16, 1972 at the age of 84, played once for Worcestershire in 1908 against Oxford University at Oxford, scoring 1 and 6 not out. In the same year, while up at Magdalen College after being in the Eleven at Radley, he scored 47 and took 2 for 15 in the Freshman's Match, his side winning by 271 runs. Mr. Grisewood, however, did not represent his University in
first-class cricket.
