A strong right arm opening bowler, Kevin first appeared for Scotland in 1992, having previously played at Under 15, Under 16, Under 19 and B XI levels. He now has a total of 23 caps, a total that would have undoubtedly been higher but for injury. His best bowling figures are 3 for 24 against Wales in 1995. He had several trial matches with Durham County. He is, by trade, a plumber.
