Kieran Bull

An offspinner from Pembrokeshire, Kieran Bull was a promising spinner growing up in the Glamorgan academy but struggled to nail down a first-team place in his first few seasons as a professional.

He was given a development contract for 2014 having impressed for the second XI and Wales Minor Counties the year before taking 35 wickets and making some useful contributions with the bat. He was given a chance in the first XI at the end of the 2014 Championship season, playing the final three matches and took 4 for 62 in his first innings against Kent.

But his opportunities were scarce over the next few seasons, limited in part due to a back injury which kept him out of action for some time. In 2018, he took 11 wickets in four Championship games, but only managed one appearance the following year as his troublesome back again flared up.
