Meher Baba was a hard-hitting left-hand batsman and a left-arm spinner who represented Andhra, Hyderabad and South Zone in a first-class career spanning 16 seasons from 1972 to 1987. In January 2008, Baba succumbed to cancer in Hyderabad aged 58.
