Looking ahead to the sixth one-day international of the series at Jamshedpur, Virender Sehwag, the stand-in captain, said that he wasn't worried about his own poor run of form or about the sweltering heat in the steel city. He indicated that Robin Uthappa, the only other specialist opener in the squad, would play in at least one of the two remaining matches, as would RP Singh, the left-arm seamer. Sehwag also suggested that Mohammad Kaif, the other batsman struggling for runs, would be given more opportunities to get back among the runs.
