For any football fans out there, the Carling Cup final between Aston Villa and Man Utd. has just kicked off and you can follow the action live on our sister site, Soccernet.com

And on that note, it's goodbye from Andrew McGlashan, Sahil Dutta and me, Liam Brickhill. Join us again in two days' time for the second ODI between England and Bangladesh at Mirpur.

So, England go one-nil up in the one-day series with a six-wicket win. Good, professional performance from England with Cook and Collingwood's half-centuries sealing the victory with plenty of time to spare. There was a little stutter before Collingwood and Morgan seized the initiative with an 88-run partnership. Bangladesh were let down by a few lapses in the field, particularly from Mushfiqur Rahim. And, of course, they will also be disappointed not to have been able to give any meaningful support to a fine knock from Tamim Iqbal.

Tamim is named Man of the Match for his hundred, but that will provide little succour to him after the nature of this defeat.

Mortaza to Prior, no run

yorker length ball dug out by Prior. Good ball, but all slightly pointless at this stage. Good practice for Mortaza after injury I suppose

Mortaza to Prior, FOUR runs

full toss hammered down the ground, and a shocking misfield gives Prior a boundary. That really should have been stopped, fielders are obviously demoralised

And with only eight runs needed to win, the Powerplay has been taken - it had to be, as we've entered the last five overs.
