We hope you've enjoyed the commentary over the past five days. We'll be back for the second Test on Sunday morning at 10am (4.30am GMT) - and England have it all to do. From me, Will Luke, and my two fine colleagues Martin Williamson and Jenny Thompson, it's goodnight and we'll see you on Sunday.
Sanath Jayasuriya, as befits such a humble sort of chap, jogs off without much fanfair but is given a rousing ovation and pats on the back from his team-mates. A fine career comes to an end, and a decent way in which to send him off with a solid 88-run win. Kumar Sangakkara is named Man of the Match for his fine double of 92 and 152, while there are plenty more presentations for Murali.
Sri Lanka win by 88 runs, and what a final day it has been. Two fine knocks from Ian Bell and Matt Prior gave England a genuine chance of salvaging a draw. Even as far as tea, the pair were playing with greater freedom and confidence...before that man Murali struck, bowling both of them in quick succession. Once they fell, the tail didn't have a hope.
