A sweet little anti-climax as the players and umpires looked at each other for 30 seconds wondering if that was it crowd was quite oblivious and only invaded once the stumps were finally drawn

Big congrats to Sri Lanka, an excellent win, quite against what most experts predicted

Stay tuned, presentations to come

The crowd are quite quiet in their celebrations, a couple of dozen people taking the opportunity to tread all over the pitch

But finally a cheer is given as the winning teams comes out onto the ground

Warne leading his team over to shake hands with the Lankans

MC Tony Greig goes through the tedious formalities of various people on the podium

Warne: "we didn't bat that well in the 1st innings.. 50 runs short... we fought back well.. but the Sri Lankans were too good today... Murali is going to turn them on any wicket... we're a good Test side, so we'll definitely bounce back.... "

Tut tut, almost leaves without collecting his 15000 dinar cheque

Jaya: "everyone bowled very well... Aravinda batted superbly... the bowlers bowled really well... the players are doing really well"

Man of the match adjudicator makes some terrible leg spinning references for some reasons, and then ends up giving a joint award to Ponting and Aravinda

de Silva says it was one of his dreams to beat Australia or South Africa, and sounds mighty proud to have achieved it

And that completes the coverage. Due to quick match we now now have about 12 days break until the next Test, with only a mere tour match slotted into that time. 2nd Test will be from Galle. Until then...
