44.5 to Rashid Khan, good catch, on the run! Rashid was aiming straight with this lofted stroke, but couldn't get it quite as straight as he wanted to and Masakadza sprinted around to pouch the catch in front of the sight screen. Afghanistan are squandering what had been a superb first half to their innings.. 202/7

8 | 0 | 45 | 1 | 5.62 | 30 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
49.3 to Mirwais Ashraf, caught at deep square! The ball was a high full toss, but the umpire confirms it's a legal delivery. Panyangara barely celebrates though. I think he's still vexed after being spanked around in his last over.. 240/9
9 | 1 | 31 | 3 | 3.44 | 34 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
5.5 to Mohammad Shahzad, Zimbabwe break through! This wasn't the greatest delivery, a touch too short, but it's pulled straight to midwicket. The bowler is a little sheepish in his celebration, knowing it wasn't a good ball, but the fielder flings the ball in the air and roars his celebration.. 35/1 43.2 to Shafiqullah, bowled him! Shafiqullah's feet went nowhere, he just stood in the crease and thrust the bat out at the ball, which drifted in and beat the bat to hit the off stump.. 197/6 47.4 to Asghar Stanikzai, great catch by Raza! Stanikzai jumped down the track and aimed to hit this for six over long on. He got a good connection, but not much height on the shot. Raza ran in a few yards and then tumbled forward, holding it cleanly.. 229/8

27.4 to Noor Ali Zadran, too full for that shot! Again Noor Ali went back in his crease and wanted to pull, but the ball was quick and full, and it zipped under his bat to disturb the stumps. He just misread the length completely. Finally, the breakthrough comes for Zimbabwe!. 132/2 33.5 to Mohammad Nabi, caught at backward point! Raza fired this down much quicker, and the batsman came forward to meet it. But the ball bounced more than he was expecting and lobbed off the splice to point, where the fielder tumbled forward to hold the catch. That's the wicket Zimbabwe needed!. 160/3 37.5 to Najibullah Zadran, stumped! Najibullah ran down the track, looking to smite the ball all the way onto 1st Avenue, which runs along the southern side of the ground ... But he ran right past the ball, which spun sharply past him, and Mutumbami had plenty of time to softly displace a single bail from the stumps. Afghanistan lose another, and Zimbabwe are clawing their way back into the game.. 178/5

2.4 to CR Ervine, got him! Angled across the left hander, the ball takes a thin edge and Shahzad holds the catch. Zimbabwe are in early trouble now. 12/2

1.1 to CJ Chibhabha, got him with his first ball! Dawlat floated a full ball up outside off, and Chamu was much too early into the stroke, popping his drive straight to cover point. It may well have been a slower ball. First strike for Afghanistan!. 9/1 3.5 to R Mutumbami, another one falls! Zimbabwe are in all sorts of trouble. Mutumbami advanced down the track and aimed a lofted stroke down the ground. But the ball seamed in sharply, beating his bat and rattling the stumps. Dawlat is ecstatic!. 15/3 41.4 to LM Jongwe, not this time! Jongwe gets across to the off side and this time he wants to ramp it over the leg side, but the ball beats him and knocks back off stump. Afghanistan close in!. 165/8 43.4 to WP Masakadza, stumps destroyed! Dawlat targets the stumps with a full ball, reversing from leg to off, and the middle and off stumps are disturbed. Afghanistan are just a wicket away.. 172/9

10.3 to CT Mutombodzi, caught at slip! The ball was pitched up outside off and Tino had a big drive at it. A thick edge flew quickly at Nabi and he held it cleanly. 34/4 14.2 to Sikandar Raza, stumped! Raza jumped down the track and wanted to blast him straight down the ground, but he just swung past it. Shahzad whips the bails off, and Zimbabwe stumble even further.. 51/5 36.6 to TS Chisoro, Chisoro perishes! He jumps down the track again, and lofts it straight down long on's throat. Afghanistan inch closer! Somewhat unnecessarily, Shahzad gives Chisoro an extended, loud send off, telling him which way to leave the field.. 140/7

25.5 to E Chigumbura, no doubt about this one! A classic legspinner's dismissal. Drift brings the ball in through the air, drawing the bat with it, but the ball then pitches and spins the other way to clip off stump. Superb delivery. Afghanistan strike back!. 103/6 44.1 to SC Williams, game over, Afghanistan win! Williams comes down the track, swings past the ball, and Shahzad breaks the stumps. Shahzad immediately starts pulling stumps out of the ground, tossing one each to the fielders on either side of him and keeping one as a memento for himself. Williams looks shell shocked as he walks off. The crowd stand to applaud him, and he gives them a wave, but there's no smile on his face.. 172/10
