game over, Afghanistan win! Williams comes down the track, swings past the ball, and Shahzad breaks the stumps. Shahzad immediately starts pulling stumps out of the ground, tossing one each to the fielders on either side of him and keeping one as a memento for himself. Williams looks shell shocked as he walks off. The crowd stand to applaud him, and he gives them a wave, but there's no smile on his face.
4.50pm Afghanistan, meanwhile, are joyous in their celebration, and well they might be. This is another significant step on their journey as a cricketing nation, and one that will never be forgotten. Hugs and smiles all round. Sean Williams and Dawlat Zadran have shared the Man of the Match Award. Afghanistan are gathered, arm in arm, on the outfield. A scene of great unity, and one can easily sense just how much this means to them. Mohammad Nabi is the Man of the Series for his consistent runs. Afghanistan are presented with the series trophy, crowding around it as its held high against the setting sun.
That's all from us for now, what a historic day this has been for Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will be thoroughly disappointed because of their batting performance. Stay tuned for more updates from Liam Brickhill, he's at the ground and will send in a lot of details soon. Until then, ta ta!
