18.2 to HE van der Dussen, Offcutter is driven straight to cover, softie to end van der Dussen. It was a half-volley outside off from wide of the crease, VDD got on one knee and crunched it but it hovered low and went to the left of Marnus, who took it well. Abbott is surprised but will take those!. 80/3 44.6 to DA Miller, taken this time! Short outside off, square drives over the off side but can't get it wide of the sweeper. Inglis takes it safetly. 258/6
10 | 0 | 59 | 1 | 5.90 | 36 | 7 | 2 | 2 | 0 | |
46.6 to M Jansen, taken at short third...full outside off, pace off, Jansen swings and gets the toe end which loops to the edge of the ring. A very useful innings from Jansen. 280/7
8 | 0 | 49 | 1 | 6.12 | 21 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 1 | |
11.4 to Q de Kock, edged, sharp catch at slip! Wider outside off, de Kock looking to drive square, neatly taken by Green (who is big and has buckets for hands, if you weren't aware). 37/2
10 | 1 | 70 | 3 | 7.00 | 23 | 3 | 4 | 0 | 0 | |
23.2 to H Klaasen, Zampa has his revenge, 95kph ball rattles off stump. 174 off 83 in the last game, 6 off 13 here for Klaasen! He went on the back foot, back into the crease, to a fullish ball which led to his downfall. Tried to play the line with a straight bat, pitched on middle and spun away subtly to beat the edge and hit off. A slow-mo replay from cover makes it look like there might have been a tickle. Not sure. 103/4 47.3 to G Coetzee, skids through, given lbw! Reviews it straightaway. Has he hit it? Pushed through very quickly by Zampa and certainly did him for pace. Not sure he's hit it. Certainly only the pad. This is heading for the middle of middle. Nice piece of bowling. 281/8 47.4 to KA Maharaj, first ball! Wickets tumbling everywhere. Now Zampa is on a hat-trick. Pushed through at the stumps, maybe a googly, Maharaj is playing back and is comprehensively cleaned up. 281/9
2 | 0 | 20 | 1 | 10.00 | 6 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
41.1 to AK Markram, strikes first ball! Would you believe it. Round the wicket, Markram goes for the sweep and gets a top edge straight down deep square leg's throat. A wicket with his first ball in ODIs. 212/5 |

3.2 to DA Warner, Carved, point takes a low catch. Warner checked with Markram, the fielder, and was ready to go before the umpires sent it upstairs. Markram lunged forward, took it, it pouched out just a bit but fingers were underneath and that'll do finely. Similar to last game in that Warner was cramped a bit by the angle coming in. Back of a length around fifth, he stayed leg side and hit it with a cross bat. Jansen strikes second ball.. 34/1 3.6 to JP Inglis, Chops it back on with a pull, the crowd go berserk; double-wicket maiden! Short ball, angling outside off, Inglis tried to cut the angle and go for a pull. Didn't bounce as much as he expected. Got an underedge and it just flicked the outer-half of leg stump.. 34/2 19.6 to MR Marsh, caught at deep third! The short ball works in the end. This one is angled across outside off, Marsh tries to upper cut it and can't get the distance. He can't believe what he's done. Neatly judged coming around the rope. 124/3 21.3 to M Labuschagne, top edge, taken at long leg! Jansen has four. Dropped in short, Labuschagne goes for the pull, gets a top edge and it's a tumbling catch by Phehlukwayo. He did well looking into the sun. 135/4 21.6 to AT Carey, great catch! Jansen has five! Another wicket to the short ball. Dug in around leg stump, Carey goes for the pull and gloves it down the leg side. De Kock had to make a lot of ground to his right and then put in a full-length dive. Great grab. 136/5

31.3 to MG Neser, big appeal and given! Full delivery, nips back, takes him low on the pad. Calls for the review. Looked pretty straight. But has it done too much? On-field call important here. Clipping leg stump. 175/8

24.1 to TH David, what a beauty! Lovely delivery from Maharaj. Pitches middle, straightens past the edge and rattles the stumps. David wasn't really playing with the full face, though. 143/6 30.5 to C Green, got him! Maharaj teases out Green. He uses his feet, can't get the pitch and bunts a comfortable return catch. Delightful left-arm spin bowling. 174/7 32.4 to SA Abbott, Inside out, Ngidi's wide at long-off and is able to take a running catch. South Africa just a wicket away from sealing the series. Ball was full and angling towards Abbott, as he made room. He got a decent chunk on it but Ngidi was in reach for a catch to the left. 181/9 34.1 to A Zampa, South Africa clinch the series 3-2 from 20 with a low catch at cover from Bavuma. Ngidi pumps his fists and the celebrations begin in the crowd. Was a shortish ball to which Zampa made room and slapped. Maharaj finishes with his best ODI figures. 193/10 |
