So there we go, Titans made the highest score of the Champions League so far and AB de Villiers played a very clinical innings to set that up, but dew, wayward bowling and some sparkling batting from Chennai Super Kings ensured victory with seven balls to spare. It's time for me to sign off. Thank you for following ESPNcricinfo's coverage of the CLT20 and hope to see you back here for tomorrow's games. Sayonara

MS Dhoni What really pleased me most was when Huss and Raina got out and come back into the dressing room, the were really upset and that really says a lot. It was a difficult target to chase, but Raina and Hussey batted really well. We were just looking to see how the first ten overs were going to turn out as the ball would be drier and could swing. But they saw through that period well and after that they attacked and put the bad balls away which is very important during a chase like this. I was a little worried initially after we'd given away so many runs, but we'll have to tighten up. Even saving six or seven runs makes a difference because say its the 20th over it could be the difference between chasing 11 runs or 18.

Suresh Raina is the Man of the Match and he says his stint with the India A side when they went to South Africa helped him work on his short-ball play. He added saying Super Kings had had a good practice session before the tournament and they knew Titans had bowlers that could bowl over 140kph, but he was concentrating on just timing the ball as well as he could.

Henry Davids agreed: It was a very good score, defendable score but we gave away far too many extras. Back of a length balls on the stumps were difficult to get away and that was the plan. We just couldn't execute it. The dew made things difficult as well, as the bowlers couldn't grip the ball well enough

Michael Hussey: They set a pretty good target, but we knew there was a lot of dew on the ground which would make it difficult for the spinners. We just wanted to get a good start and then work on that. Our plans didn't change much when he lost the early wicket. It wasn't a preconceived attack, but Raina is just an amazing talent and with him hitting the ball so cleanly, it took a lot of the pressure off me. I enjoy the challenge, I enjoy playing with these guys and we'd like to round off a successful six years with a good tournament here.

11.31pm This was expected to be a steep chase, but Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina seemed to disagree. Their partnership - 89 off 44 balls - brought the advantage to the Super Kings' side and it was never let go. They were helped quite a bit by some wayward bowling, as many as 24 wides in the innings. The dew on the pitch played a hand in that

Richards to Morkel, FOUR runs

and he gets off the mark with a four and finishes the match. It was full and Morkel carves it between point and cover without moving his feet much. And thats the end of that.

Richards to Morkel, no run

fullish and wide of off stump and Morkel is happy to let it go

Albie Morkel comes out to face his domestic side as the rain gets heaviver

Richards to Jadeja, OUT

slower ball from Richards and Jadeja goes for a two-ball duck. What a forgettable day for him. It was nothing too dangerous, just a straight ball and Jadeja went for an across the line slog, missed it and looked around to see his stumps rearranged

Ravindra Jadeja b Richards 0 (2m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0
Richards to Jadeja, no run

shortish ball again, but Jadeja gets back behind it and blocks

Richards to Jadeja, 1 wide

down the leg side again and Titans gift away another run as rain comes to watch the match as well

Richards to Jadeja, 1 wide

short ball first up and Jadeja ducks beneath it

Ravindra Jadeja is the new man in. Can he redeem himself with the bat?

Richards to Dhoni, OUT

Anti-climax! he's holed out. Richards bowled it full and Dhoni was walking into the shot and drives it on the up, but he doesnt get enough elevation as he splices the drive and the man at cover leaps into the air and holds onto a sharp catch

MS Dhoni c de Villiers b Richards 7 (9m 8b 0x4 1x6) SR: 87.5

five needed off 12. And its Dhoni on strike.

Morkel to Badrinath, no run

short of a length again, on off stump and Badri jumps back in his crease to block it

Morkel to Badrinath, no run

he goes up in a vociferous appeal, this one seams inward and strikes the batsman on his pads as he was looking to flick it into the leg side. It was going down comfortably

Morkel to Dhoni, 1 run

bouncer, right at his body and Dhoni gloves it away toward square leg as he goes for the pull

Morkel to Dhoni, no run

and he goes short of a length immediately, just a little outside off and Dhoni stays back and dabs it away to cover

Morkel to Dhoni, SIX runs

and he gets off the mark with a six over long-on. On middle and in the slot, which allows Dhoni to get under it and power it over the top.

SatheeshJM: "Trust Dhoni to spice up any game, regardless of how one-sided it had been till then."

Morkel to Badrinath, 1 run

goes fuller this time and manages to get it closer to off stump and the batsman steps forward and pulls out a good-looking cover drive

Morkel to Badrinath, 1 wide

and he continues to stray in line. This was short of a lenght, but way too wide of the off stump

Morne Morkel back in to finish his spell

full and wide outside off. Dhoni looks to slam it down the ground, but he doesn't time it quite well and goes back to the bowler

Richards to Dhoni, no run

this one is a little shorter and outside off allowing Dhoni to go back in his crease to work it across to point

Richards to Dhoni, no run

on a good length on middle, which keeps Dhoni in his crease as he blocks it down the pitch

Richards to Dhoni, no run

its a short of a length ball that greets him and Dhoni goes to pull, but he gets an inside edge which thuds into his hip and goes to the keeper

which brings MS Dhoni into the field on his home turf. And there's dancing in the aisles to welcome him

Richards to Bravo, OUT

oh, the slower ball does the trick. Its short as well and Bravo swivels around on his back foot, looking to hook it. But Richards manages to get it up at a nice throat height and Bravo nicks off to the keeper

edged and wide of slip again. Bravo flashes hard as the ball goes along with the angle outside off. This four to third man brings up Bravo's 3000 in T20s
