Fall of wickets: 1-51 (Michael Vaughan, 5.4 ov), 2-63 (Matthew Hayden, 6.3 ov), 3-154 (Jacques Kallis, 13.4 ov), 4-223 (Ricky Ponting, 17.3 ov), 5-224 (Kumar Sangakkara, 17.5 ov)
6.3 to ML Hayden, what a champion, just simple basics. And McGrath sticks his tongue out. Drags his length back a tad outside off forcing Haydos to swing across the line,a thick inside edge clatters into off stump. Haydos' entertaining innings ends.. 63/2
5.4 to MP Vaughan, gets im. Swann gets rid of his compatriot. Flat and quick on middle, Vaughan does not pick the length at all. And Swann is happy, all smiles. Vaughan tries to pull but it is too full, skids through and hits him plumb in front. Easy decision.. 51/1
17.3 to RT Ponting, slower ball down leg, would have been called wide had he not got bat on it. He tries to play fine paddle sweep and in fairness, the shot was there to be played but plays it too early, lobs to Mahela off the back off the bat. Ponting though is all smiles.. 223/4
17.5 to KC Sangakkara, Sanga is gone now, full and wide, sliced to deep cover where Akhtar fumbles it but holds on somehow. Klusener's slower balls coming to the fore.. 224/5
13.4 to JH Kallis, Viru gets the wicket. Full again, Kallis cannot get underneath that enough, ends up swiping this to Murali at midwcket. they check for the no ball, very close but looks like there is something behind that line. 154/3

Fall of wickets: 1-20 (Virender Sehwag, 1.6 ov), 2-43 (Sourav Ganguly, 5.1 ov), 3-80 (Sachin Tendulkar, 8.2 ov), 4-88 (Mahela Jayawardene, 10.2 ov), 5-102 (Brian Lara, 13.4 ov), 6-130 (Lance Klusener, 15.4 ov), 7-192 (Shaun Pollock, 19.2 ov), 8-197 (Shoaib Akhtar, 19.3 ov)
1.6 to V Sehwag, Agarkar gets his own back. Short outside off, Sehwag looks to murder this over cover but a thick inside edge rattles the stumps. Did not quite get under that enough. 20/1
5.1 to SC Ganguly, Sanga takes it. Ganguly's short bright stay ends. Short on middle, a top edge lobs up straight in the air for Sanga to take.. 43/2
8.2 to SR Tendulkar, huge wicket. Disappointed crowd. Tendulkar is bowled. A quicker ball down leg but SRT backs away, trying to make room but the ball skids on, strikes him on the body and then onto the stumps. Saqlain has the wicket.. 80/3
10.2 to DPMD Jayawardene, gets the wicket now. Umpire Erasmus adjudges this to be straight enough. Lots of doubt there, Mahela isn't happy.Went down to sweep and missed but it may have been sneaking down with the angle. The Blasters now tottering. 88/4
13.4 to BC Lara, cleaned im up. Lara advances and looks to hoick this over midwicket, the ball slides on and sneaks through a thin gap between bat and pad to take out leg stump. Lara's swagger-filled knock ends. 102/5
15.4 to L Klusener, gets im now. Terrific catch from Warne and that should put his team 2-0 up. Slower from Symmo on off and middle, Klusener look to blast this down the ground but a little bit of turn and Klusener ends up slicing in the air over cover. Warne runs back and hold on to a sharp chance over his head. 130/6
19.2 to SM Pollock, bright and breezy from Pollock. Nice fifty. Short outside off, he ends up dragging it, doesn't time it that well and that ball spoons up for Haydos to take at long-on. 192/7
19.3 to Shoaib Akhtar, the double-card trick worked to perfection, the bouncer and the fuller delivery next up. Akhtar's feet are nowhere, he goes through with the heave though and straight to cover. What an entertaining stay that was from Akhtar. 197/8
