3.2 to PR Stirling, has a hack off the back foot, Buttler thinks there's a nick! He took it cleanly, down the leg side after Stirling had given himself room, and immediately England signal for the review. And with good reason! A clear spike, and England strike. 30/1 13.3 to HT Tector, reverse-swept, off the top edge... taken! Tries to take it from leg stump through the off side but ends up gifting a tame catch to short third. Ireland lose a fifth wicket, just when they hoped to be kicking up through the gears. 90/5
4 | 0 | 17 | 2 | 4.25 | 13 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
8.3 to LJ Tucker, connects more sweetly... but straight to deep square leg! Wood is out there on the rope, and clings on with a juggle. Overton's heavy artillery does the needful. 56/3 8.6 to C Campher, crashed down the ground, Banton clings on at long-on! Two in the over for Overton, and Ireland's innings is fading fast. The shorter balls are inducing mishits, the fuller lengths are going straight to a well-set field. Effective work from the big unit. 58/4
3 | 0 | 24 | 1 | 8.00 | 6 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
6.3 to GR Adair, drops to one knee, smashes the slog sweep... straight to Cox! That's the end of a lively cameo from Adair. He connected well with that one ... too well, as the ball sailed straight to deep midwicket. Well taken, sliding in. 52/2
4 | 0 | 29 | 3 | 7.25 | 8 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
14.5 to BF Calitz, heaves again, skied into the covers this time - gone! Rashid pushes the ball wide of the left-hander, possibly a googly, but either way it forces Calitz to reach for the shot. Big top edge and it's a simple catch for the England captain running in. 102/6 14.6 to BJ McCarthy, wrong'un, hit on the front pad - and given! The umpire, Mark Hawthorne, thought long and hard before giving it, and McCarthy is pretty quick to review. But the ball only has to be clipping. Here we go: beats the bat on the inside before hitting him on the shin; and ball-tracking has it thumping leg stump! Golden duck for McCarthy, and Rashid is going to be on a hat-trick at the start of his next over. 102/7 17.6 to MJ Humphreys, slog-swept to deep backward square leg! Humphreys picks out Cox in the deep, another check to Ireland's momentum after a good stand. Safely held low down in front of him, although Cox seems to be grimacing. 141/8 |

4.1 to JG Bethell, this time he has holed out! Delany at deep midwicket times his dive forward to perfection, and clings on inches from the turf, both hands wrapped around the ball. Bethell had some brutal intent, another monstrous pick-up on the pull, but he's sawn himself off just as he's getting going!. 33/2
