25.2 to Azhar Ali, short and gloved, Foakes tumbles for the catch... is it another leg-side strangle? England put in a concerted appeal, Foakes is convinced, but the soft signal on field is not out. What does Marais Erasmus think? Definitely a touch behind as Azhar looked to pull. "Looks like it goes straight into the glove," Erasmus says... and he's given it! Pakistan might not be too chuffed at the soft signal being overturned, with very few angles to go by on replay, but Azhar has to go. Don't think there'll be as much argument about that catch as there was for Pope off Shakeel in Multan, but still. A vital blow before the interval once again. 117/3
31214044.5111818101
5.2 to Abdullah Shafique, skids into the knee-roll and up goes the finger! Leach has struck with the new ball, but Shafique reviews. This looked pretty adjacent to the naked eye, sliding past the inside-edge, and it's umpire's call! Clipping leg, and England are up and running!. 18/1
74.5 to Nauman Ali, now then... Nauman hacks a sweep to mid-off! Tempts him into a shot too many, some grip and bounce as he heaved across the line. B-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-g top edge and Stokes had time to run across behind the bowler and settle underneath the catch. Leach ends a ticklish stand, the second-best of the day. 285/8
78.3 to Agha Salman, done him in the flight! Salman is a long way down as the ball turns appreciably past the bat, and Foakes does the rest. Small fist pump from Leach, who picks up his third of the day, Pakistan nine down now. 300/9
78.6 to Abrar Ahmed, bowled 'im! Abrar doesn't know what's happened, but it's not sorcery - just one that spun sharply from middle stump to tip the off bail. Leach hits back with his fourth, ending a brief-but-eventful stay from Pakistan's last man. 304/10
1523312.20704010
12.3 to Shan Masood, top-edged... and taken! Wood screams in delight/relief, England have their second of the morning. Dug in at 145kph/90mph and there's enough extra chuff on this to sent Masood's attempted pull spiralling down to fine leg, where Leach stoops to take a low catch. Just a pretty 30 from Masood on comeback. 46/2
2228924.048711000
41.6 to Saud Shakeel, legspinner, comes off the pads, taken by Pope plunging forward at short leg... was it clean? Was there some bat? Rehan Ahmed waits on the third umpire to see if he's just taken his first Test wicket! Fat inside edge balloons off the front pad, and Pope has definitely got his fingers under this one. Rehan's on the board on debut! Wonderful stuff from the 18-year-old leggie, challenging both edges on consecutive balls and he's dislodged the obdurate Shakeel for his lowest score in five Test innings. 162/4
66.3 to Faheem Ashraf, pinned lbw! It's the googly again, and this looks plumb! Once again, it has straightened from round the wicket, bending past the outside edge and thumping the back leg! It's smashing off according to Hawkeye, as Faheem reviews in vain, and Rehan has his second on debut!. 237/7
30712.33110000
48.6 to Mohammad Rizwan, whoops... full toss, honked to mid-on! Rizwan is disgusted with himself! He jumped out but only managed a toe-ender into the leg side, where Stokes was hightailing it around to his right to hold a simple catch. England's captain has a look of glee on his face, he knows how jammy that dismissal was. But they all count the same in t'book!. 196/5

0.5 to Z Crawley, beaten on the back foot - given! Up goes umpire Raza's finger, and Crawley won't review after consulting with his partner. Looked about as plumb as you could wish for, straightening just a smidge on off stump; Crawley struck on the knee roll, England one down for spit. 0/1
22.2 to OJ Pope, jaffa, hits top of off! No issues with accuracy on this one... Abrar-cadabra and your wicket is down. Floated up tantalisingly, Pope was groping out in front of him as the ball gripped and fizzed through to topple his timber. Beautifully bowled, Abrar gets his first of the day. England four down. 98/4
75.2 to MA Wood, plucked at midwicket! Wood timed it pretty well, but Shafique just sticks up his right paw and snaffles the catch. Abrar picks up a third wicket, as Pakistan finally break the eighth-wicket stand. Wood looks a bit peeved as he heads off, thought he'd got that up and over the infield as he skipped down. Taken right in the fingertips. 316/8
81.4 to OE Robinson, bowled him, top of off! Abrar finishes it with a straight-onner, some natural variation as the new nut slides through Robinson's swipe across the line. They didn't come cheaply, but it's another four-for for Harry Ahmed. 354/10
30112644.201028011
13.2 to BM Duckett, nailed by the sharp turner! Duckett was trapped on the crease as the ball bit from outside off and thumped him flat on the knee-roll. The finger goes up but Duckett reviews... was it outside the line? Nope, umpire's call on line and hitting the stumps! England lose their first of the day. 58/2
13.3 to JE Root, nicked off first ball! It's a huge moment in this match! A slip has just come in, and he's straight into the game. An uncertain push forward on the front foot, and scooped up low... did it carry to Salman? The umpires are conferring and sending it upstairs, but yes, no doubt about that!. 58/3
65.2 to Rehan Ahmed, down the track, has a hack, and gone! Well, at least his dad sees the funny side, Rehan takes the spirit of the age at face value, and splats an attempted wipe across the line straight at short midwicket, where Shakeel times his leap well to intercept. Oops. Lock and reload!. 265/7
76.2 to BT Foakes, Foakes on the charge... and he's scuppered himself! Straightforward catch for for Shafique this time, as Foakes' attempted swipe down the ground goes high and not very far, to be taken by mid-on. Solid innings, but Pakistan have almost wrapped this up. 324/9
1517114.735610000
64.2 to HC Brook, thumped on the knee-roll, and Wasim strikes! Beaten by pace and a lack of bounce, a tiny bit of shape back in from off to middle. Beats the inside-edge, off the front pad into the back, and there's no thought of a review. The end of a fine century, but England's hopes of parity, or even a handy lead, might yet have gone with him. 262/6

15.2 to Shan Masood, bowled him reverse-sweeping! Masood's proactivity brings about his downfall... did the open spaces on the off side tempt him into looking to manufacture a scoring opportunity? Whatever, England have got their first. Skidded a touch low, clipped the bottom edge and then into leg stump. 53/1
15.6 to Azhar Ali, cleaned up! Goodnight, Azhar... No grand finale for the retiring Pakistan stalwart. He isn't quite sure what happened here, but will head off to a smattering of applause, and a guard of honour at the boundary's edge. Falls to his former Somerset team-mate Leach, who spins one sharply from middle and leg to hit off. Two in the over, and suddenly England are sniffing around excitedly again. 53/2
17.1 to Abdullah Shafique, pinned on the front pad, given! Same as in the first innings, and Shafique isn't going to bother with a review this time. And that's a good decision, following the one from Joel Wilson, as ball-tracking confirms it would have poleaxed leg stump halfway up. Salmon and trout, and Pakistan are in the fish soup now. 54/3
713114.42304100
61.1 to Faheem Ashraf, floated up, Ashraf has a hack... nicked behind! Awful shot to his first ball from England's part-time offie and Pakistan lose their seventh. Finger goes up immediately, and Ashraf slopes off. Root lobs a grenade into the rough, finds some turn and there's a scrap of bat as the left-hander tries to launch one down the ground. 178/7
14.514853.23624000
52.6 to Babar Azam, long hop, and lumped to short midwicket! Filth gets wickets! It's a staple of club cricket, and Rehan has bagged the big fish! Ollie Pope clings onto a flat pull and celebrates like the bloke from "Platoon". That's what leggies can do, the eyes can light up, and catch fire in the process!. 164/4
56.5 to Mohammad Rizwan, back of a length, finds the edge! It's the line that does the trick, a hint of turn luring Rizwan into no man's land with his footwork, and Foakes snaffles the snick! Rehan has cracked this innings open in the space of three overs!. 176/5
58.4 to Saud Shakeel, top-edged sweep, and another one bites the dust! Square leg tracks back, pockets the simplest of looping chances, just a brain-fade on the sweep, failing to factor in the overspin on his googly, and the last remaining big fish has been landed! What an introduction!. 177/6
72.2 to Mohammad Wasim, Wasim flubs a big hit to mid-off! Rehan has another, he's closing in on a debut five-for. The googly does it for him, as well as some injudicious shot-making. Safely pouched by Robinson. England one away from wrapping this innings up. 211/9
74.5 to Agha Salman, top-edged sweep, Ahmed has FIVE! What a magnificent moment for Rehan Ahmed, who walks off with the ball after becoming the youngest debutant in men's Test history to take a five-for! Extra bounce does for Salman, and it's safely held at short fine leg. Ahmed does a quick sajdah, while his old man goes bananas up in the stands. He's wrapped up the innings, too, with England needing 167 for a series sweep. 216/10
1232512.08572000
71.2 to Nauman Ali, thumped on the pads now, Wood screams an appeal. Joel Wilson isn't convinced but England opt for the review. Hard to tell in real time, but looks close on replay... and it's smashing into middle and leg! Nauman beaten for pace and plumb lbw via the DRS. England have the eighth. 208/8

11.3 to Z Crawley, down on one knee, and nailed on the pad! Crawley reviews his on-field lbw, was there any bat involved? Doesn't look like it... though they have somehow loaded the wrong replay... let's try again! No glove on the sweep, and it's plumb into leg stump, and Pakistan stem the flow!. 87/1
13.2 to Rehan Ahmed, takes on one too many liberties! Back goes the off stump as Ahmed hacks on the up across the off-stump line. Abrar looks nonplussed as he bags another.. 97/2
