29.6 to JE Root, beautiful bowling! That's the sort of ball that's required on this deck. Very full length, lovely shape and late swing, and Root yorked himself as his bat came down across the line. 227/3 46.3 to BA Stokes, full toss and Stokes misses with the ramp, stumps a-splattered! He's better off just whacking it, didn't get the Fancy Dan shot right and Morris gets some respite, to go with a second wicket. 371/6 48.1 to AU Rashid, timber! Morris gets the yorker and rattles Rashid's stumps! Swinging in a touch, under the bat and bull's eye. 379/8
10 | 0 | 87 | 2 | 8.70 | 27 | 8 | 4 | 1 | 1 | |
17.4 to AD Hales, a miscued hoick, and Hales' excellent knock comes to an ignominious end. Slightly too full for the cross-batted wipe that he aimed out towards midwicket, de Lange's extra pace means the ball is onto him too soon, and a toe-ended lob to cover gives South Africa a timely breakthrough. 130/2 49.2 to CJ Jordan, Jordan heaves high into the leg side, Duminy is circling under it... taken! England are nine down, with four balls left, Jordan having just become the eighth batsman to clear the ropes. 391/9
10 | 0 | 70 | 1 | 7.00 | 29 | 10 | 0 | 2 | 1 | |
7.4 to JJ Roy, drives, through the shot a little early - taken at cover! Roy's fireworks are over, he tosses the bat in the air, knows he's given it away... The ball might have stopped in the pitch a little, the bat turned in the hands, but it was a tame way to go when he was looking like a million dollars. 68/1

10 | 0 | 71 | 2 | 7.10 | 26 | 5 | 4 | 0 | 0 | |
34.4 to EJG Morgan, goes for another big hit downtown... but picks out long-off running in! Tahir strikes for the first time, Morgan looked as if he had the bit between his teeth but he's tripped over and landed on his face, came off the toe of the bat and Morkel took a good sprawling catch. 256/4 47.3 to MM Ali, full on the stumps, swings into the leg side... straight to the man in the deep! Moeen looked a little off balance there, he was aiming for the stars but ends up in the gutter. 376/7
5 | 0 | 45 | 1 | 9.00 | 9 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 1 | |
42.2 to JC Buttler, got him, picks out AB in the covers! Buttler was trying to manufacture a big fat swipe over the infield, the ball wasn't quite full enough to drive and de Villiers clings on above his head... Buttler's fun is over, but England's may not be. 317/5 |

2.1 to HM Amla, bowled 'im, Amla drags on! The ball was wide, Amla went for it without moving his feet, thick inside edge and the bails were doing cartwheels... Eerie silence around the ground as the Mighty Hash wanders off. 11/1
6 | 0 | 43 | 1 | 7.16 | 13 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
25.6 to JP Duminy, stops in the surface, maybe a slower ball... and Duminy pokes it straight back to the bowler! Topley swallows it in his follow through, tosses the ball away in jubilation. Don't think he did anything different with the delivery but it popped off the face, startling Duminy and giving England a fourth wicket. 197/4

6 | 0 | 43 | 3 | 7.16 | 17 | 2 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
15.6 to F du Plessis, flatter ball, a perfectly timed pick-up, but the boundary is some 80 yards away, and look who is lurking in the shadows at cow corner ... it's Alex Hales, who pockets the ball in the long barrier position, and that's a tame end to a very fine innings. 121/2 19.3 to AB de Villiers, slapped down the ground, Stokes is running across from long-on... AND GRABS IT ONE-HANDED! Another moment of Stokes brilliance in the field has done for de Villiers, the ball seemed to be going for six, over Stokes' shoulder, until he thrust up an arm and plucked the cherry from the sky! He carries on galloping, barely breaking stride, celebrating in front of the stands, cool as you like. 151/3 32.6 to RR Rossouw, that was the pressure that told in the end. Another well-flighted delivery, Rossouw aims something dramatic over the covers, but gets underneath his shot. Long-off hardly has to move, and if de Kock didn't already know it, it really is all on his plate now .... 245/5
