Outstanding fielding and bowling performance by Queensland. Three wickets for Nathan Rimmington and four run outs. The Bulls must feel like thay can defend any total. They've picked up where they left off last year.

Back to the drawing board for Tasmania who have begun the year one and one. Some horrible run outs cost them dearly. Bailey's innings was brave but he was involved in three of those run outs.

Lee Carseldine has been named man of the match for his 73. Last years leading run scorer continues to be a shining light for the Bulls.

Rimmington to Doherty, OUT

Bowled him! Its all over. Slower ball yorker deceived Doherty who played all around it and lost his off-stump. The reigning champs have won three straight now at home.

caught on 87. He stepped across, got down on one knee and tried scoop-sweep it over short fine leg but could clear Walter who took a simple catch. The end of a brave innings. Will it be enough? Tough ask from here.
