Tasmania have secured a place in the Ford Ranger Cup final with a nail-biting win off the second last ball. Travis Birt was exceptional with 93 from 99 balls to get Tasmania home. He is a deserving Man of the Match.

Marcus North made crucial breakthroughs to keep the Warriors in it taking 3 for 38 but dropped catches really hurt WA. Paine was dropped at least twice, Birt once and in the end that was the difference.

Tasmania will travel to either Queensland or Victoria for the final. The host will be decided on saturday when Queensland and Victoria do battle at the Gabba. Join us at 2pm AEDT on saturday to find out who will host the FRC fina.
