38.6 to Mohammad Yousuf, played on, Yousuf is bowled, it was a back of length just outside off, Yousuf wanted to run it to third man as he has so often this innings, gets an inside edge onto off stump. 166/5
9.4 to Imran Nazir, brute of a delivery sends him back, Bond hits the deck hard and Nazir is forced to fend it off, it balloons off the top half of the bat and Taylor snaps the top edge at first slip. 46/1
12.5 to Shoaib Malik, excellent catch by Taylor, Butler drops it back of a length outside off and forces Malik to play at it, the ball dips and heads towards Taylor's left at first slip and he takes it inches off the ground. 61/2
14.2 to Kamran Akmal, Kamran finds the fielder, he can't believe what he's done, he reaches out to a pitched up delivery outside off and scoops it high in the air down to Redmond at sweeper cover, he tumbles and takes it cleanly. 69/3
41.2 to Shahid Afridi, another batsmen goes attempting to run the ball to third man, it was a bit wide outside off, Afridi nibbles it through to the keeper, massive blow for Pakistan, will Younis be regretting not having taken the Powerplay when Yousuf and Akmal were set?. 183/7
43.3 to Umar Gul, another footwork-free swing from Gul, mishit, the ball balloons to cover point, Broom moves to his right to take the skier. 192/8
20.5 to Younis Khan, very soft dismissal, flighted on the off stump,Younis commits to the front foot a little too early and he tries to work it to the on side, the ball spoons to Taylor at short cover off the leading edge. 86/4
40.5 to Umar Akmal, Akmal is gone, lbw, he was looking to paddle that one fine, he misses and is struck on the pads, Taufel sends him on his way, the ball looked to be heading for offstump, but Akmal was extremely unhappy with the decision, was there an inside edge? Replays show there was, a thick one too. 181/6
44.2 to Naved-ul-Hasan, he's gone this time, attempts to clear the boundary once more, gets a top egde which swirls to Guptill at midwicket, Guptill has to make some ground to take that catch, completing it outside the circle. 198/9

Fall of wickets: 1-22 (Brendon McCullum, 4.3 ov), 2-43 (Martin Guptill, 9.1 ov), 3-71 (Aaron Redmond, 16.4 ov), 4-126 (Ross Taylor, 29.5 ov), 5-230 (Daniel Vettori, 46.6 ov)
4.3 to BB McCullum, Afridi pouches a skier, he's flat on his back with his arms outstretched! McCullum is tempted into chasing a delivery full and wide of the off stump, he tries to take him downtown over deep extra cover but he miscues it and Afridi pedals backwards from the circle, takes the catch and tumbles backwards. 22/1
9.1 to MJ Guptill, that's a very soft dismissal and aren't Pakistan glad! Guptill perishes to the same short-arm pull which fetched him a six, wasn't short enough to play that shot and he was cramped as well, the top edge lands down Rana's throat at mid-on. 43/2
16.4 to AJ Redmond, listen to the crowd roar! Looked like the doosra which Redmond failed to pick, slow through the air, Redmond is early on the shot as he walks towards the pitch of the ball and he ends up spooning it back to Ajmal, the easiest of catches. 71/3
46.6 to DL Vettori, Vettori is gone, too little too late for Pakistan, Vettori goes down the pitch and goes for a big heave, misses the ball, Akmal has an easy stumping. 230/5
