Fall of wickets: 1-19 (Martin Guptill, 3.2 ov), 2-113 (James Franklin, 14.1 ov), 3-191 (Brendon McCullum, 19.6 ov)
14.1 to JEC Franklin, length ball and Franklin's hit it straight to Nasir Hossain at deep midwicket, he made good contact but just placed it poorly. New Zealand won't mind this dismissal too much though, with the likes of Taylor and Oram to come .... 113/2
3.2 to MJ Guptill, he's missed a straight ball and is bowled! Guptill moved forward to defend but played down the wrong line and left a sizeable gap between bat and pad. The ball went through it. Hasn't taken long for the trial by spin to take effect.. 19/1
19.6 to BB McCullum, he's been caught off the final ball, throwing his bat at a wide ball and slicing it to the fielder running in from the cover boundary. He's absolutely battered Bangladesh and they look every bit a team that's had do do some serious leather hunting. McCullum's 123 is the highest T20 international score. 191/3

Fall of wickets: 1-0 (Tamim Iqbal, 0.3 ov), 2-19 (Shakib Al Hasan, 2.5 ov), 3-33 (Mushfiqur Rahim, 4.4 ov), 4-37 (Mohammad Ashraful, 6.4 ov), 5-87 (Mahmudullah, 14.2 ov), 6-115 (Nasir Hossain, 17.3 ov), 7-123 (Mashrafe Mortaza, 18.2 ov), 8-128 (Elias Sunny, 19.1 ov)
0.3 to Tamim Iqbal, slapped straight to cover and if this task was difficult for Bangladesh already, it's got even harder now. A back of a length ball outside off, Tamin didn't move his feet out to it, went to cut and got it off the toe straight to the fielder at shoulder height for an easy catch. 0/1
2.5 to Shakib Al Hasan, tries to go off side again but chips it to cover point. Undone by a slower ball from around the wicket, he again gave himself some room outside off but was reaching for the ball angled in towards middle stump, was there too soon and it came off low on the bat and chipped to the fielder diving forward in the covers. 19/2
4.4 to Mushfiqur Rahim, big shot into the leg side but not enough on it and caught at deep midwicket by Kane Williamson running back, another smart catch from Williamson, had to judge that carefully, running back and around, held it well. Rahim tried to pick up a length ball from around off stump and didn't get hold of it properly. 33/3
6.4 to Mohammad Ashraful, big swing across the line and given out lbw. Stood in the crease and tried to swing it to leg but missed completely and got hit in line, only doubt was height but Nigel Long though it wasn't high enough, probably gave it out for the shot, should have done anyway, it was appalling. 37/4
17.3 to Nasir Hossain, good strike down to long and a smart catch from Guptill that was travelling and could nearly have made him skip over the rope but it was very well held, powerfully struck but didn't get it wide of the fielder. Guptill leapt up and took it two handed above his head. 115/6
19.1 to Elias Sunny, length ball on off stump, chipped into the covers and extra cover takes it coming to his right, sliding and grabbing with two hands, easy chance well caught and a third wicket for Southee, Sunny trying to go over the off side and failing. 128/8
18.2 to Mashrafe Mortaza, stepped back and then forward and then chips a back of a length ball straight to short third man, didn't get anywhere near the required distance on that, simple catch for Franklin. Tried to ramp it over him but the contact was poor. 123/7
14.2 to Mahmudullah, middle and leg line, slapped straight to long on. Not a bad strike but simply didn't get enough on it and it flies straight to the fielder who claimed it at shoulder height with two hands. 87/5
