Signing off from here, do join us for live commentary when the fourth Test starts between England and India.

That's all we have in live commentary for this quadrangular series. But the third-place match is still on in Alur, and Hemant tells me that Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a wicket off his first ball in his second spell and has three overall now. Good signs for India if he's fully fit and bowling with incisiveness. Follow the updates of that match here.

4.00pm

Travis Head: "Definitely not what we hoped for. India played exceptionally well today. We were going to bat (so the toss wasn't that important). It's been a really good experience. Not finished yet, with the four-dayers coming up for most of the guys. But many of the guys have come up with really good performances. Looking forward to the red-ball cricket now."

Manish Pandey is the winning captain and the Man of the Match. "This tournament has been really good to me. And the way the boys have played these three-four games has been commendable. Small hiccup in the last game but we learned our lessons well. I had some time off and came back with a settled mindset. I just wanted to stay on the wicket and the runs will come."

3.50pm Demolition job by India B. They have been the best team in this competition by far, and they absolutely smashed Australia A today. Almost like they took the defeat in the last league game personally. All the batsmen dominated Australia's bowlers, with only Ishan Kishan missing out, retiring hurt after being struck on the thumb. The pace bowlers had begun by being loose, but as soon as Jalaj Saxena came on, Australia's strangulation started, and they collapsed.

finishes off in style appropriate words when the captain comes in at No.4 and finishes the match with a six. Outside off and Pandey lifts it high over long-off for the winning hit. He's gone through the entire tournament without being dismissed.

Amogh K: "@Girish - The game changer there was Dravid's statement that Shaw is ready for Test matches and it came a couple days before the selection happened. Maybe the selectors banked on Dravid's word as he has spent time with both Shaw and Agarwal. Also the fact that, had Dhawan failed in the last test match, Shaw-Agarwal both would have received the callups. Not fair on Agarwal but that's how selection works in India."

Bhagyesh Dash: "Mayank and Hanuman were top scorers in the series in England. Prithvi made about 1/2 the runs Mayank and Hanuman did. This on top of his strong domestic show. Real mystery he continues to be ignored for the senior side"

Karthik s.venka: "The very fact that India can field two teams with almost equal talent who can take on the second best sides of countries like Australia and South Africa, is a matter of pride. It would also mean players narrowingly missing out on national team berths to their close competition. The India cap will be much more valued now. "

Girish: "@Akhilesh: I don't understand how you justify Prithvi Shaw's selection over Mayank Agarwal. They both performed well in England. But Mayank has terrific domestic performances behind his back. If you don't consider domestic performances, then what's the point in playing so much domestic cricket. Just pick players from under-19 directly. Also Mayank has still left with 7-8 years of cricket if you are talking about age!"

Murali: "With all these teams gives India a good bench strength.. Best ODI 11 will be Rohit, Shikar, Virat, Manish/Rahul, Ambati, Kedar, Dhoni, Hardik, Bhuvi, Chahal, Kuldeep, Bumurah" - I know India have an abundance of talent, but you've picked 12 there Murali...

Rivlud: "Slightly disappointed with India A's performance, would of been nice to see an all Indian Final! I remember Australia A vs B back in the day, maybe one day that may come!"

Amogh K: "Pandey was always a fabulous player, but the mistake was picking him for T20s. That might not be his area of expertise and the performance there somehow impacted his ODI game too. Good to see that he's finally got his mojo back. "
