Scorecard
Jaidev Unadkat blew West Indies A away for the second time in the match and set up a comprehensive six-wicket win for India A at Grace Road, their first victory on tour. The left-arm seamer from Gujarat, playing his maiden first-class game, added six more to his first-innings haul to finish with match figures of 13 for 103.
West Indies began the final day needing to erase their deficit of 22 and then set India a competitive target. However, Unadkat struck first thing in the morning when he trapped David Bernard lbw. Kirk Edwards and Imran Khan took West Indies to a lead before Iqbal Abdulla dismissed Edwards, and Andre Russell shortly after. Imran and Gavin Tonge offered some resistance with a stand of 80 for the ninth wicket to delay India's march. Unadkat trapped Imran lbw for 62 before bowling Tonge for 46. He finished with 6 for 62 and in the end India were chasing a modest 111 to win.
The Indian openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Abhinav Mukund, made steady progress before they departed in the tenth over. They lost two more wickets, to Lionel Baker, but were never in danger of choking. Ajinkya Rahane steered them home with an unbeaten 33.
