4.3 to AJ Strauss, cracker! full delivery, angling in, Strauss, still not sure of his off stump leans onto the drive too early, misses it completely and the off stump goes for a run, back a few yards. 14/1
38.4 to IJL Trott, the bowling change works, Zaheer pitches it wide outside off, tempts Trott to drive, Trott plays away from the body and the outside edge flies to Ganguly at first slip who takes it at waist height. 174/4
42.4 to TR Ambrose, pitched up outside off stump, Ambrose tries to drive it square, the ball gets the top edge of the bat at the same time as the bat jams the crease, Dhoni appeals confidently and the umpire is convinced. 184/5
11.5 to OA Shah, short ball from Sreesanth and Shah is sucked into the hook shot, top-edge flies high to fine leg where Zaheer pulls off a good running catch. 62/2
85.2 to SCJ Broad, caught at point, Sreesanth gets one to angle across, Broad shapes to drive square on the front foot, spoons it to Yuvraj at point, who dives low in front. 354/8
29.5 to JL Denly, rush of blood, Powar gets rewarded for persisting with his flight and loop, Denly steps down, fails to get to the pitch of it, the ball sneaks between bat and pad and Dhoni has an easy stumping. 142/3
43.3 to AU Rashid, Powar 'earns' another wicket, flighted on off stump, teases Rashid to go for the drive, he plays too early and spoons an easy return catch. 185/6
53.5 to RS Bopara, smart move by the captain! legbreak on leg stump, turns in, Bopara tries to tuck it to the on side, the ball travels off the face of the bat straight to Karthik who shows off his reflexes. There was no pad involved so all credit to Karthik. 225/7

TOTAL86.4 Ov (RR: 4.41)383
Fall of wickets: 1-2 (Wasim Jaffer, 1.2 ov), 2-2 (VVS Laxman, 1.5 ov), 3-14 (Dinesh Karthik, 4.5 ov), 4-65 (Sourav Ganguly, 18.2 ov), 5-205 (Yuvraj Singh, 56.6 ov), 6-304 (Sachin Tendulkar, 75.5 ov), 7-317 (Ramesh Powar, 78.5 ov), 8-361 (Zaheer Khan, 84.4 ov), 9-361 (Sreesanth, 84.6 ov), 10-383 (MS Dhoni, 86.4 ov)
4.5 to KD Karthik, Broad takes out Karthik and Indians are in complete disarray. Karthik doesn't look too pleased with the decision. It landed on a length, on the off and middle and shaped away. Karthik was sucked in to the forward prod and was turned inside-out by the away movement. It must have been a very thin nick . There was a certainly a sound. Was it the ball on wood or bat on pad? 14 for 3. Enter Sourav Ganguly.. 14/3
56.6 to Yuvraj Singh, Yuvraj's patience runs out. Broad went wide of the crease and hurled a sucker ball - full and well outside the off stump. Yuvraj went for a drive and edged it straight to first and the only slip. He had been so patient so far, leaving quite a few deliveries outside off stump but he is gone now.. 205/5
84.4 to Z Khan, short of a good length outside off, Zaheer slashes at it too early, ends up getting a thick edge through to Ambrose. Not a particularly good delivery but Broad will take it. Zaheer just lost his concentration. 361/8
84.6 to S Sreesanth, short and cutting in after pitching, Sreesanth shapes to defend on the backfoot, opens the face of the bat in the lastr second and the ball gets the outside edge through to Shah at third slip. 361/9
86.4 to MS Dhoni, chopped it on and that's a five-for for young Chris! outside off, Dhoni stays rooted to the crease and tries another swat past the bowler, gets a thick inside edge onto his stumps, the off stump goes back a couple of yards. 383/10
1.2 to W Jaffer, Jaffer's woes continues. Caught in the front. It landed on a length, on the off and middle and moved in. Jaffer's left leg came across - again he gave the impression of being late in leaning forward - and before the bat could come around the front pad, the ball had thudded in to the pad. In front of the middle and leg. Gone. Wonder what's happening in Gambhir's household in Delhi.. 2/1
1.5 to VVS Laxman, 2 for 2! Onions is frying the Indians. It landed back of length, on the middle line, Laxman leant forward to defend but the ball straightened and he ended up pushing his bat inside the line. The ball clipped the outside edge and that was that. Laxman back in the hutch. Enter Sachin Tendulkar.. 2/2
75.5 to SR Tendulkar, Tendulkar falls after an imperious knock. It was a short of length, outside off and he again tried to slog it on the up over mid off but ends up sending it straight to the fielder. What a gem of a knock this has been. Majestic, classy, and aggressive.. 304/6
18.2 to SC Ganguly, Ganguly falls to the pull shot. Yet again. Banged in short and it was angling away outside the off stump but Ganguly chose to fetch it from there and went for a pull. It ballooned straight up for Tremlett to take an easy catch.. 65/4
78.5 to RR Powar, cleaned up. Done in by the slower one. It landed outside the off stump and broke back in, Powar leant forward and was beaten by the change of pace and then, by the movement it. He just stabbed at it in desperation and the ball threaded the bat and pad gap to knock back the middle. 317/7

10.3 to JL Denly, good reflexes from Jaffer, outside off and in the length to drive, Denly gets down a little too early to drive, spoons it off the face of the bat to jaffer at short cover who stretches his hand and takes it. 60/1
31.2 to AJ Strauss, played on, Powar tosses it up ever so slowly, the trajectory is much flatter, Strauss gets down to sweep, doesn't present the full face of the bat on the ball and the ball gets the under edge onto the stumps. 140/2
